- LLLindaNov 10, 20251.0SHOE LEATHER ON A PLATE Today delivered a harsh strike three for the Outback restaurant in Thornton, Colorado. Only returned after two severely below average experiences because my sister wanted to go for her birthday. The sirloin this restaurant served both of us was nothing more than shoe leather on a plate. I feared that if I didn’t choke that my tooth crowns would pop off. It was that difficult to chew. We should have walked out of the restaurant when neither of us could cut through the restaurant’s signature sirloin without practically having to put a foot on the meat in an attempt to cut through it. The manager, Jason, acknowledged our complaint by suggesting we upgrade to a more tender fillet. If the chef can’t be trusted to create an edible house sirloin, how could we trust a fillet be any better? It was the most inedible steak I have ever encountered. At least the standard cores of the iceberg lettuce heads were not part of the salad. As always, the baked potato was reminiscent of yesterday’s prep. Before we left, I ended up being overcharged leading to a double billing. I hope the overcharge is refunded properly. I will not return to any Outback and recommend other potential dinners avoid the same disappointing experience.

Food was good even for 1 of our very picky eaters. Lost a pair of sunglasses and they held on to them for me. If in the area again, we'll go back.... to Outback

I ordered a Robles red wine that paired perfectly with my spectacular ribeye steak, which was extremely delicious, cooked to a medium-rare, juicy, and delicious. The meat was the best I've ever had. Thank you to the chefs at this restaurant, and the service was extraordinary. My evening was truly extraordinary. Thank you for visiting this place; I will definitely be back.😇☺️🤤🤐😝😘🥰🤩😃😀🙂
