Would think it was a mistake but the burger had the buns flipped upside down which seems like a disgruntled employee's actions. Also receipt on the bag shows the correct order, which should have been cross referenced. Called the store to let them know and the guy on phone answered "Yeah." I explained the situation, he got the "manager" which was just shift lead. Then she said she would be contacting the regional manager to get me my refund. I asked to be contacted once the refund has been initiated. This place is a mess and the staff are very unprepared to handle basic interactions with customers. Disgruntled employees sabotaging food is something that is highly innappropriate.

Does Five Guys offer gluten-free options?
The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.

Why does Five Guys have peanuts for free?
Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
Also, give those leftover fries a try as hash browns, home fries, or even as the filling in an omelet.
