  Great casual spot with a really unique setting. During the day it’s ski-in/ski-out, and at night you arrive by heated snow coach, which makes it a fun experience. Food is simple and well done—pastas, panini, and great comfort dishes. The grilled cheese and tomato soup are a must. Nice wine selection too. The kitchen is small, so if it’s crowded, expect your order to take some time. Beautiful views and a relaxed atmosphere. Reservations recommended.

  Getting up there on the snow cat was awesome. The staff was very knowledgeable and super friendly. The View was absolutely great. The food was good, probably great for some just not my cup of tea.

  Incredible place! This is fabulous for on mountain dining. Javen was amazing and wonderful attention to detail. He was so attentive!

  Thank you Mia for letting me through the gates to a heavenly spot on a high cruising perfect run in Telluride. The service, food (lobster cavatelli better than I have had in Italy), and wine (sparkling Rose and Asti Spumante) were deliciously sublime. I am here for another 6 days and plan on lunch here every day if I can get in… The only downside is that you have to leave and let gravity do its thing,., Alpino Vino Dinner: Even More Heavenly Than Lunch I had lunch at this heavenly high altitude delicious mountain ski-in restaurant 4 out of 5 days. The fixed prix dinner feast was even more heavenly despite having imbibed 4 margaritas before the 5:45 pm arrival; and I drink very little if any daily. This very special experience starts when you are picked up by the gondola at Mountain Village by a decked out snow track. The relatively smooth ride up takes about 20 minutes - just enough time to get acquainted with the other about ten guests who were extremely nice and interesting. The food with wine pairings for each course was delicious and the service impeccable. The ride down seemed shorter. Due to the 9 glasses of cocktails and wine, my trip back to the right room was a little shaky. But this incredible culinary experience made the expected hangover worth it. I hope to be back next year, this time having learned my lesson.

  I was really excited to try the highest-elevation restaurant in North America, but the experience was disappointing from the start. The hostess acted as though the restaurant was an exclusive private club and that we were lucky to get a seat at all. Her attitude was very off-putting. The main highlight was the mountain view, although we were seated far from it. The grilled cheese was tasty and the servers were friendly. Unfortunately, the initial interaction set the tone for the visit. There are so many other great dining options on the mountain, I will not be returning.
