    Where's the management?!! This place literally seems like there is no management and everyone down to the host has not a clue of how a restaurant of this caliber should run. We waited for over 45 minutes for our food of a party of 4. I have been in the hospitality industry for some years now and when you fill up every seat in the restaurant and have no one to pace the restaurant this is what happens. Our server didn't even know the difference between any red wines, not sure he was even old enough to drink. A "fine dining" restaurant should not have amateurs running or even serving at a place where good money is being spent and good time is expected. You hire people with experience. This was the second time I have visited and it was worse than the first. So shameful for such a place that has potential. GOOD LUCK, better start caring.

    I was really disappointed with our experience. For an upscale restaurant, the service was surprisingly poor. The restaurant wasn’t busy, which should have meant attentive service, but instead it felt disorganized and inattentive. Unfortunately, the food didn’t make up for it. The food was subpar and did not meet the expectations set by the price point or reputation. Overall, not an experience I would return for.

    We had a reservation for 7:45 PM and arrived about 10 minutes early. While waiting in the lobby, the host came over and told us they could not seat us at all tonight because a bartender had left and they were understaffed. I explained that we had a reservation and were there for dinner, not just drinks. While this was happening, several other parties were seated. When I pointed that out, the host said they had reservations — which we did as well. She then offered to call another restaurant downtown for us, essentially asking us to leave. Confused, I asked to speak with the manager. The manager said that was not their intention and that we only needed to wait until 7:45, but by that point the situation had already been mishandled and uncomfortable. We ultimately left. Unfortunately, I can’t comment on the food because we were turned away despite having a reservation. Very disappointing experience and poor communication between staff.

    Where do I even begin. I’m not one to normally write a review especially a bad one but I must warn others of this place. One star is too many to be honest. What should have been a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner turned into an absolute nightmare. It was by far the worst dining experience we’ve ever had. My family and I were visiting from out of town and so excited for a great Christmas. From the moment we walked in there was no Christmas joy to be found. The place is beautiful and has so much potential but the poor staff was so overwhelmed and understaffed. It all comes down to poor and terrible management. No one knew what they were doing. We waited over 2 plus hours for food and when it came it was seared burnt on each side and totally raw on the inside. We saw multiple tables get up and walk out. Everyone was pissed. I can’t believe there’s not more bad reviews from this night. It was the worst night for everyone. I felt bad for the staff too it wasn’t their fault they had no leadership and guidance. This place should be shut down. They clearly can’t handle running a large restaurant in a busy mountain tourist town. Paying for our food felt like a scam and we all left in tears. For a party of 4 you wouldn’t expect such slow service and wait times. I can’t stress enough how I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to this place. Please do a favor and don’t make the mistake of going here. Most unpleasant experience of my whole life. E3 should be ashamed to share the same name as this place. This is not an e3 restaurant don’t even compare. It’s like the ritz and motel 6 being in the same category

    It is Christmas Eve and my family and I had reservations here that we were excited about. When we first arrived, we were ignored for 15 minutes, until someone came over and asked if we made reservations and then were told it would be a minute. Immediately afterwards we were seated, and given water and menus. We didn’t see anyone else for another 20 minutes. When our waitress came over she told us it would be at least 50 minutes and to place all of our food order then. They were out of bread, so we ordered an app, salads, 3 steaks and 2 sides. It took a full hour to receive our salads, we watched as 2 men walked around trying to figure out where they go. Then 2 minutes later 1 steak, a few more minutes, a side and a steak, and then our other side. Our waitress forgot to put in our son’s steak so she put a rush on another. When it came out nearly 2 hours after our reservation time, it was undercooked, our app never came. The table next to us requested a manager, and a young male showed up and said, “I’m the closest thing to a manger here tonight.” The staff tonight are not to blame, they need a manager who can be there to help ensure everything is going smoothly. Moral of the story, if you are a family of 3 looking for a way to waste 2 hours with mediocre food, and spend 400 bucks. Come here. I HIGHLY recommend the E3 Chophouse, avoid this place.
