We did have an awkward encounter, not sure if it was an employee or just a very passionate customer, about English muffins. Couldn't figure out if she was joking or serious, but we ended up taking the last 3 packs and she made an offhand remark about it not being in stock until Tuesday. Bizarre.

The picture they sent looked like the inside of an apartment lobby, but it was supposed to be delivered to the front door of a house. It's like they didn't even try. So I had to put in an expedited duplicate order for the next day, and requested a refund for the missing delivery. They declined my request, and the online customer service is very, very bad. After fighting with the VoiceBot on two separate calls, the person I talked to had such bad reception I couldn't really tell what she was saying, she put me on hold a bunch of times, and the only thing I could for sure make out was (and I'm not joking here) the roosters calling in the background every 20 seconds or so. This amount of time wasted is not worth the convenience of home delivery. I will NOT shop at this Safeway again.
