Me & my fiancé & I got engaged at home (Denver) around 3am Christmas Eve & then decided we need to go somewhere to celebrate. We’d both never been to steamboat so we did it. This was the first restaurant we went to when we got here & the food & service was as outstanding. Tatum & Tessy specifically were absolutely amazing. We know exactly what we like coming to places like this & everything came out perfectly. Highly recommend if you’re visiting steamboat springs!

My waitress as nice as she was, was not knowledgeable regarding the menu to what I would expect at this price point. I asked her a few questions regarding the surf and turf and lobster add on and I wad told that the surf and turf was just a smaller tail not a split tail from the addon. If that was the case we would have ordered that each. In addition my stake was cooked to medium/ medium well and my wife's was medium rare. The waitress apologized and offered to get us another. Greatly appreciated but having a young toddler at dinner as every parent knows your on borrowed time. So I swapped with my wife and she at the middle. All in all it wasn't a bad experience but for a $400 dinner I expect more.

I rarely leave reviews, but I’m sharing this so it’s constructive — for both the restaurant and future guests.
We had friends visiting from out of town who just closed on a home here, and they wanted to celebrate with the all-you-can-eat crab night. From the moment we sat down, our server tried to talk us out of ordering it, telling us it “takes two hours,” which felt unwelcoming but we brushed it off.
After we finished our meal and paid (our bill was around $700), we stayed for a few minutes chatting, not realizing the restaurant had emptied out — our table was tucked away in a back corner, and no one gave us any indication they were closing. Suddenly, someone who wasn’t our server approached the table and said, very abruptly, “You need to leave, we’re closed.” No polite heads-up, no “Hey folks, we’re closing soon,” just a rude dismissal. This was around 9:40pm. It was clear they wanted us to leave by following us out the door and immediately locking It.
The frustrating part is that Google says open until 10 and your website says “until close” , so it felt like they simply wanted to shut down early because it wasn’t busy. As a long-time local, I’m disappointed this is the experience and “welcome” my visiting friends received.
I’m sharing this in hopes the management and owners sees it and uses it as feedback — because the food was good, but the service truly overshadowed what should have been a special night.
With so many restaurants to choose from in this town, we prefer to support the ones that offer great service — and unfortunately, that wasn’t our experience at E3 tonight.
