  I haven't been to Pizza Hut in a really long time. However Pizza Hut is typically my number one favorite pizza of all time!! I actually made a u-turn on highway 50 to go to this Pizza Hut because it looked so good. Pulled up seemed clean, walked in very clean establishment overall very nice. Only gave it a three stars due to the help. I went to look at the menu, as I reached for it on the counter it was reached for by the person behind the counter and pulled from me. That really wasn't the issue because there was a gentleman standing there not really knowing what he needed to order or wanted to order.. I understood she was just trying to help, however she should have been more aware of my presence also. Being that it had been a number of years since I had visited the pizza hut, in fact my cousin used to be the manager of the one off of Abriendo and 4th Street here in Pueblo. Which any of you locals would know was sometime ago. Once I was able to get a look at the menu, I ordered one of their thin crusted folded melts. Thought I'd ordered the chicken bacon parmesan. I asked if I could add an item to it. I was told no, however I could build my own. I liked that answer 😊 I decided to order a mushroom sausage pepperoni bell pepper and pineapple one with their garlic sauce.. sounded so good. 😋 The lady behind the counter, told me that she could not guarantee it would cook right because of the pineapple and it would release too much moisture into the melt. I was kind of disappointed to hear her discredit what I wanted to order. I did not expect that at all and was quite taken back. She told me it would be 15 minutes. I gladly went out to my car to my car and check my emails while I waited. It must have been about 8 or 9 minutes later and I decided to go back inside. There she was pulling my food out from one of their hot bags, knowing there was no other customers in the store.. was she just too lazy to walk out and bring me my food or let me know it was ready, or even I had signal.. through the window even. I was literally parked right in front of the store. However, the food is absolutely spectacular! I have no complaints about that whatsoever. I sat in my car and enjoyed it from start to finish. When she handed me my food though.. she said all the sauces are in the box and started to walk away. I asked politely for a fork and she got me one. Anything else? She asked. No I replied slightly. She was very short with her asking, she even proceeded to ask again because I was not moving quick enough to the door. I felt very rushed by her. I definitely think she either does not like her job or she has been doing it for way too long. Probably will not be back even though the food was great.. the customer service could have been 100% better!

  This Pizza Hut location on Highway 50 in Pueblo was a bit of a letdown overall. The biggest issue was the food quality, which has noticeably diminished compared to past visits. The pizza felt lacking in showing care and consistency, and it just did not have the same taste or freshness that Pizza Hut is known for. The staff seemed either overworked or disengaged, which came through in the overall experience. Service felt rushed and impersonal, giving the impression that morale may be low. That said, the restaurant itself was clean and well maintained, which deserves credit and shows effort on the facility side. While the location has potential and maintains a tidy environment, the declining food quality and lackluster service made this visit disappointing. Hopefully, with better staffing support and renewed focus on quality, this location can improve.
