Had a lovely mid afternoon Monday here and will absolutely be returning!
Quick review of my experience and order:
(Well) Old Fashioned - a very well mixed drink, no complaints to be had here whatsoever, props to Jay my bartender.
Grand Old Fashioned - Grand Marnier and Buffalo Trace, much smoother than the Well, as you might expect, and a very nice suggestion from Jay at the bar.
Queso Fresco with Brisket Starter - the chips were not overly salted, whixh works since the queso itself is quite salty. The brisket is delicious and you'll wish there was more. As to the queso fresco, it has good consistency and light creamy (if salty) flavor. Additional note, reddit would be proud of these chives.
Wagon Boss Center-Cut Top Sirloin - served with a double-stack-of-pancakes' worth of butter on top which I wasn't expecting but was a VERY tasty surprise. I ordered mine "as rare as the kitchen will serve it" and it was delicious! Just to make sure the butter wasn't doing too much, I scraped a bunch off for my second bite and I was still VERY very happy with the steak. I'll also say the spices on the steak were very well chosen and portioned - I could taste them without feeling like they were "covering up" anything in the steak, which is my usual worry when folks season steak beyond salt and pepper.
Smoked Macaroni & Cheese - I'm really happy with this, actually, and I consider myself a bit of a Mac & Cheese snob. It had a very soft, creamy, mildly smokey flavor. Honestly? I think it would make an amazing standalone dish (maybe with diced tomatoes and bacon bits?)
Side Salad - ordered with ranch. I was not expecting anything amazing here, and i wasn't amazed but I ALSO wasn't disappointed. Next time, though, I think I'll get the ranch on the side as the last few leaves in the bowl were drowning a bit (not a problem unless you've got a recent New Years Resolution.)
So yes, I WILL be back to see if I can get more funny jokes out of Jay and try more tasty steaks and sides!

Steak was cold, $50 for a ribeye and it wasn’t even cooked fresh. When it came to the table it looked like it had been under the lamb for an hour. Truly disappointing this used to be a restaurant I looked forward too. Now it’s a waste of money.

Food was VERY good. They ate Part of the Landry’s chain of restaurants so you can buy discounted gift cards at Costco. It was very crowded and quite loud. But overall it was great.

Food was amazing? The favorites at our table were the filet with shrimp, the rib eye, asparagus , and mushroom appetizer. The server could have been a bit more attentive.

We came for steak and prime rib. Its in the name! Disappointed to be there at 7pm on a Saturday and discover the "last piece" of prime rib was all that was available, after it was already placed in front of you. Being forced to eat the overcooked heal of the roast was behavior we aren't used to. No offer to "make it right" or "something else on the menu" the server walked away and washed their hands of the underlying issue. When you dine at a restaurant, you are paying to what what you like. Not settling for what's left. When 2 people spend over $200 for dinner, the expectations are much higher than this. Unimpressed and likely not to return thanks to overcooked and dry meat. No thanks!
