Shout out to the Starbucks barista who is called Elena. If you need a drink, she is the girl to go to. She takes the time to listen to what you want, but most of all makes a them amazing drink. Her kindness, and no, how is above all else.

Safeway in Estes Park is a great local place to shop without making the trip down the canyon. If you download the app, you'll instantly find great deals on digital coupons. Sometimes at the checkout, we only pay half for our groceries. Only thing is, this is a happening place. Best to go early morning or later in evening. Especially on weekends. Bonus is they have a Starbucks in store.

In my opinion not that good of a grocery store. Often out of the same essentials on a regular basis. Self checkouts are cramped and staff resemble Zombies from tales of the dark side. When they were on strike a few months ago I had a run in with the big mouthed kid who still works there. Thankfully I bit my lip and did not respond to his silliness. Produce is marginal varying from overly ripe to not even close, especially the bananas and avocados. Card section / gift / flower shop has dwindled down over the years and very poor. Prices are high consistently compared to other grocery stores. I’ve been going to this store for over 30 years and it’s worse now than ever. The Safeway just east of this location in the old Albertsons building is twice as good. Their self checkouts are now open and this is helpful.

I visited your store located at 2321 W Eisenhower Blvd., Loveland, CO 80537 at about 4:00pm MST today, 12/21/2025. Upon entering the store, I walked up to the Starbucks counter and asked the employee how late she would be open. She said 6pm. I did my shopping. At the end of my shopping, I went back to the Starbucks counter to order. I greeted the employee and asked if she was new, as I had never see her before. She said to me, “I am refusing service.” I asked her if the machines were down, she replied, “I am refusing service.” You can go talk to the manager at the service counter.” Confused, I walked to the counter and conveyed to the manager in charge what the employee has said. She replied that the employee told her I had called her a racial derogatory name a couple of weeks or a month ago. I told the manage on duty that I had never seen that employee in my life and in fact, had just asked if she was new when I went to the counter so she must have me confused with someone else. The manager replied that that is what the employee told her. I restated she must have me confused with someone else as I would never do that. (Side note, In fact, everyone who knows me will tell you that I see everyone as equal beautiful souls). I went back to the Starbucks counter, took off my hat and said to the employee, you must have me confused with someone else and I have never met you and would never call you a name. She would not talk to me. I was very upset and went back to the service counter to confirm that Brandi was the Starbucks manager and that Jason was the store manager, so I could report this to them on 12/22/2025. I left in tears as I have never ever been accused of calling anyone a name and I do not appreciate the false accusation. I would like to give the employee the benefit of the doubt that she had me confused with someone else. This is my regular store but at this point, I am not sure I will return.
