You close the store on lincoln cleveland That store was so much better than the other 2 on the west side of town. The store on the East Side of town had the best employees. You go to the other stores. The employees are rude. I don't know what the owner was even thinking about pretty dumb. The old Albertson store that's a joke. Dirty broken down needs help, so does Safeway

I saw the previous review and had to leave this review. The lady and her child were behind a space where there was a sign that stated Employees only, then when black/red haired employee walks up with the cart, she politely asked her to move, the customer then began instantly screaming at the poor girl while the girl did not even scream back, the customer is at fault for that bad interaction and acted as this generation would refer to as a ‘Karen’. The customer here is completely in the wrong, regardless if the customer is always right, this just wasn’t right at all. I feel so bad for the girl. If anything, give her a raise because she didn’t respond as this customer claims she did. It’s unfair.

On December 26th at 7pm I went into the store to pick up an online order. There was no one at the front of the drive up and go area so I stood there patiently and waited. A girl with half red half black hair and piercings all over her face dressed in baggy street clothes all in black, walks up. As she approached, she yelled, can you get out of my way?! I opened my eyes wide and said, excuse me, who are you talking to? I was caught off guard because she didn’t look like an employee. She repeated in a louder voice, GET OUT OF MY WAY, YOU’RE IN MY WAY!!! I looked at her and said who are you talking to?! She yelled back, WHO ARE YOU TALKING TO?!?! I finally asked her if she worked there. She then started just yelling whatever she was yelling. I stopped her and said I don’t know who you think you’re talking to like that but I’m a customer and you’re being very disrespectful. I said I was going to get a manager and she came running behind me yelling go get my boss, I don’t care!! This was the most disgraceful thing I have ever experienced at a grocery store. I’m ashamed for Safeway that they have employed someone who treats their customers this way and further more they need to take serious action and do something about the lack of customer service, customer compassion and customer care. No one ever deserves to go into a grocery store and get greeted with “GET OUT OF MY WAY, YOU’RE IN MY WAY!!!” from a yelling belligerent person not even looking like an employee. People with hostile demeanors as this should not be working with the general public. This should be treated with great concern. I did speak to a manager on duty and he was very polite and did listen as I tried to tell him what happened but that girl kept telling the whole time I was trying to talk with him so I’m not sure how far this is going to go. I hope that someone will read this with some authority and take this serious. This is a very bad look for the Safeway name.
