We had a PHENOMENAL brunch here. Basically no wait for a seven top, everyone was incredibly kind, and our servers, including a trainee, did an excellent job of checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed. HIGHLY recommend this place for brunch as the selection of food and drinks was so amazing that all seven of us got something different and all od it was GOOD!!

We stopped in for dinner on a Friday around 6:00pm and were pleasantly surprised to get a table with almost no wait—especially with about 30 minutes of happy hour still left.
Unfortunately, the service didn’t match that strong start. It took about 10 minutes for our server to acknowledge us, despite passing by several times, and nearly 20 minutes before he took our order. Meanwhile, nearby tables—including some seated after us—were already receiving drinks and appetizers.
To start, we ordered a beer, the Pineapple Upside-Down “Tini,” cheese curds, and the LH chicken wings. The cocktail was a miss for me—I had expected something more balanced and refreshing, but it leaned heavily toward straight, bitter vodka. It was barely cold, lacked sweetness, and the pineapple flavor was very faint. The sugar rim was inconsistent as well, with noticeable salt mixed in, which didn’t complement the drink.
The cheese curds were excellent, but the ranch dressing fell short. While it had a nice blend of herbs, it tasted under-seasoned and watery—definitely needed more salt.
The standout of the starters was the chicken wings. They were breaded, tender, saucy, and full of flavor—easily the highlight of the meal.
For our entrée, we split the shrimp po’ boy, which was also fantastic. The shrimp were large and perfectly fried, and the combination of bread, lettuce, tomato, remoulade, and an added side of mayo came together really well for a delicious sandwich.
We’d be open to coming back and giving it another try—hopefully with improved service and a more carefully chosen drink next time.

We are beyond frustrated. We made a reservation hours ahead—planning our entire day, baby included—only to wait over an hour for cold food. The waiter only came back for drink refills—never once addressing the absurd delay. We left hungry, forced to find another option, all while juggling a baby’s schedule. Sure, the venue looks nice, but that doesn’t excuse how badly this was handled. Management must step in immediately, or no one should put themselves through this. I certainly wouldn’t.
Came here last night with some friends and got sat outside near the wooden wall. The weather was beautiful and we were excited for the view. We had a bubbly server with pigtails and leg tattoos who I think was named Katelynn? She was so intuitive and gave us everything we needed before we could even ask! We had a spicy marg and a hazy ipa and both were refreshing and delicious. Food was good although it did take longer than expected. It was about 30 mins for our food to come out but our server kept communicating and checking on us so we were understanding because they were very busy. We are excited to come back and try the rest of the menu.
Unfortunately, our visit to Mesa Latin Kitchen was a disappointment from start to finish. While the manager was attentive and accommodated our request for patio seating, the service went downhill quickly from there.
We waited nearly 30 minutes for chips and queso, a simple appetizer that should arrive promptly. The evening continued to decline from there, with our entree arriving minutes after the appetizers. We ended up taking home our appetizers as leftovers. At the end of the meal, when we noticed a discrepancy on our bill and brought it up, our server’s response was dismissive and unwelcoming, essentially placing the blame on us as the customers.
A restaurant is only as good as the experience it provides, and sadly, Mesa Latin Kitchen missed the mark on nearly every front this visit.
