  A very clean and well organized store. All the shelves were fully stocked, showing good inventory management. The staff were friendly. The deli, produce and prepared food sections were fresh and spotless. I liked it.

  Product is good but this one particular employee is was working with an attitude. As a customer service on self checkout side, I asked a question but she never let me finish. What kind of service is this? If you don’t even have the patience to let your customer finish a question, how could you provide the help? This is not the job for you. Ridiculous.

  It's like they are purposefully running the business to the ground because there are so many obvious and easy baseline things that they could do to earn more like keeping things in stock. I'm always seeing a lot of "just run the store better" type of issues. I'm a neighbor and a years long regular who walks to the store, and I hate crossing the road to King Soopers, but I almost always do that now because they actually have the food I'm looking for. For example Indomie Ramens haven't been stocked in months (those are extremely popular right now, and everywhere has them except this Safeway) and one time recently their entire produce department was empty including the fridges and this was in the afternoon. Another problem is this store is not set up or equipped for when it gets busy, and most reviews here seem to support that, because the lines are disorganized, slow, and stressful. I will say the staff is super nice especially Ricky. I'm not trying to be rude or unfair, this is my neighborhood store, it's just frustrating when these are easy fixes that become glaringly obvious when you compare this store to the one across the street that looks like it's doing more than twice the revenue.

  One of my daughter's education programs gifted us a $200 online gift card by QR code and it was completely legitimate. Head clerk by the name of "Elska", but referred to by the checker as "Angela" refused to honor the QR code. Absolutely would not override the transaction to accept it. Treated us as if we were trying to scam them. As I was trying to be nice, she became increasingly condescending and rude. We have used this program in this store several times without resistance. She was just clearly exercising her power to say "no". My household is low income, and we ultimately had to pay out of pocket for groceries we asked for assistance with in the first place. Shame on this woman for embarrassing, and disrespecting us the way she did. I work in customer service myself, and wouldn't treat anyone like she treated us. No matter how my day is going. Previous head clerks have thoroughly inspected this QR code, and honored it because they can see that it's legitimately on the Albertsons/Safeway website. The checker even remembered me using it in the past. This ruined Safeway's rapport with me.
