  This is regarding the older gentleman employee who was working at the deli/hot food counter on Friday April 3rd at approximately 10:45 AM. I asked for an 8 piece chicken, and then very politely asked if it would be possible to get two extra thighs instead of the two chicken breasts it normally comes with. Instead of an “oh sorry we’re actually not able to do that,” I got a very aggressive and firm “No!” I was very taken aback by how unnecessary and rude this came across. I have shopped at this Safeway multiple times a week for several years now and have never encountered an employee like this before. To whatever manager is reading this, I would appreciate if you would have a talk with this employee.

  Nice Safeway store, very clean and well stocked on a Monday afternoon. Good produce and friendly staff. Large Starbucks at the entrance inside! I will go back!

  Worst pharmacy experience ever. I drove 6 miles to get a pain management RX and was told by the pharmacy staff they could not understand the instructions so they would not fill the RX. I told them I had been taking these pills for over 30 years and was in great pain. I explained the instructions to them. But no deal, since they did not like the instructions, they would not help me and the Dr office was closed. So went to Walgreens and they could understand the instruction and I got my Rx. Never going there again!

  Yesterday 3/5 about 1:00pm went into this store to get lunch due to working in the area. Trying to get into the drink fridge at the front end which was covered in metal racks, I was cut badly enough to need a couple stitches. Attempting to get into a different one I had to move displays by shoving them with my hip to be able to open the door since I was one handed. Went through self check out bleeding and the nice cashier asked me if I got what I needed. I showed her my hand and we walked over the fridge so I could show her what I was referring to. A short man with dark hair came over and she explained to him what happened. He was completely blank faced and said “do you want to go wash your hand and I’ll give you a band aid?” I said yes and we (the cashier and I) were still showing him the issue with the fridges. He very blankly repeated himself like I was stupid. “Do you want to go wash your hand and I’ll give you a bandaid?” I said yes again and walked away. The very nice cashier asked me several times if I wanted to file a report. I didn’t really know what she mean by that but she clearly cared that I was injured. He couldn’t have cared less and acted as if I was bothering him. He seemed to be an acting manager of some sort. A really bad one since he never said “sorry “ or are u you ok? Or we will fix this so it doesn’t happen again… just annoyance. Guess I should have filed that report on him.
