Customer service is poor. I visited 11/10/25 and waited in line for over 30 minutes. As the line behind me grew, I began to see why it wasn't moving. Ricky along with another employee who was leaning over the cashier area, were complaining about their boss taking shifts away from their schedule. Finally, I said to Ricky that as a professional, it was inappropriate for him to be complaining about his personal life, especially when he had 5 customers waiting in line to be helped. He nonchalantly said, "Oh, yeah, you're right! This didn't affect his performance. He just carried on like he was having a private complaint session with his other employee. I placed a complaint with the corporate office and received no contact from the store director, but was informed that I would by the corporate office. There is a saying that you are only as strong as your leadership. Maybe it's time to turnover the management in this store to improve customer service.

Deli closed at 4:00 before everyone is off work and trying to grab items for dinner. This is the 3rd week in a row I've dealt with this. There was almost no milk on the shelf, and what is there is usually set to expire the next day. They denied my digital gift card because they can't manage fraud. Most of the cashiers treat you like an inconvenience for coming through their line. When the deli is open, it takes you staring at them for several minutes to be served. This store has gone to shit. John Biggs the director should be embarrassed.

I’ve been going to this Safeway for years and lately they seem to be out of a lot of things. Customer service has gone down as well. It’s such a shame that businesses aren’t what they used to be.

My 79 year old grandmother used to go here and they kept scanning items too many times, and repeatedly she wouldn’t get sale prices on items. This was happening over and over, so she went in to the store to talk to the manager, and as she was talking to the manager, the manager “lower your voice” to her. She wasn’t yelling. I am floored at the lack of customer service and respect for customers, but especially an elderly woman. The produce is also apparently a poor selection. If they’re going to treat my grandmother like this I highly recommend you do not shop here.

I have been a lifetime customer of this store and for the most part the staff has been great and we are on a first name basis and always friendly. However, today i tried to order lunch from the deli counter and the lady working the counter (who i think was the manager of that department but im not sure) was extremely rude to me. No customer service whatsoever. I tried saying "hello how are you?" And she ignored me and just said "what do you want?" I placed my order and asked if i could pay extra to get extra chicken. She just blatanly said "No." So I asked why, and she responded with they are done for the day and too busy (I was the only person at the counter) so i responded by asking if she is just going to throw away the rest of all that chicken instead of selling it to me? And she just ignored me. There was nothing but a rude attitude from her the entire time. So i checked out the rest of my groceries and reported this incident to Jeremy (one of the other employees) Jeremy was very nice and apologized on her behalf. I would hate to have to stop shopping at this location because of one bad employee. Everyone else i have encountered there (like Jeremy) goes above and beyond to make sure costumers are happy. It's also unfortunate because they have a pretty good 8$ deal on lunch at the deli, but its not worth being treated with utter disrespect to get it. Hope to see some change if I ever go back.
