- CFChristy Folsom5 days ago1.0Huge disappointment!! As truck drivers, my husband and I try to eat healthy and avoid eating out most of the time. But every once in a while, you want something different — something delicious that’s going to cure a craving and really hit the spot. Unfortunately, this was not it. We ordered the 20 boneless wings for $17.99, and honestly, calling them “wings” feels like a scam. I wouldn’t even call them nuggets — they were more like popcorn chicken, and even then there wasn’t much chicken at all. Mostly just breading. We got BBQ and lemon pepper. The very first bite of lemon pepper tasted like a mouthful of old, oily grease 🤢. It was a huge letdown. What makes it worse is that I had been hyping Charlie’s up to my husband since he’d never eaten there before. Needless to say, we were both very disappointed.

The guys behind the counter and on the grill were totally awesome, truly professional, and really down to earth. Although I can be a grumpy old trucker, and am just passing through, it’s always nice to know there are good people out here.
