  They don’t care if they have bad managers or bad workers. As long as they don’t do anything bad to their own company then they can’t get fired. They allow rude behavior and terrible customer service. You can see the countless negative reviews here about certain mangers and workers behaviors, attitudes and service. It seems like the Safeway owner who replies is not an actual person or they simply don’t care to report these reviews.

  I have had worse customer service here than I have anywhere else. I was shopping at Safeway yesterday and left my headphones at a register. I called the next day to ask if they had any headphones at the lost and found and they confirmed they had my Bose headphones. I come in around 9 pm asking for it and the guy working at the self checkout tells me they don’t have it. He ‘calls’ his manager and his manager also says there were no headphones. I tried explaining that I called earlier, however he refused to check and kept telling me to just write my phone number down. After having to insist having the manager come over, I was met with a lot of bad attitude. He stated they didn’t have it, and after having him go back and check for my headphones TWICE, he suddenly “found” them and handed it to me. Genuinely no clue what is going on with the employees who work there at night. Both the manager (Mike) and cashier (glasses, tall, brown hair) were absolutely terrible to interact with.

  I come here quite a bit. I really love it, there are lots of selections of things. despite prices being a little crazy, there isn't much. Most of the employees are very friendly to me, especially the gas station ones. Although, there's this one girl with dyed orange/red hair who has been very negative to be around. usually there's only one cashier open, and if it's her i don't have a choice. ive said "hi" to her and there's been no response. she doesn't say anything when I am loading my items. nothing at the end. she bags aggressively and just stares when I'm not interacting with her. it's unnerving and she seems like she hates her life. maybe she should be stocking or?

  Rory who works there is what makes this location so great! My husband and I have been coming to this location for years and years and Rory is always there with such positive spirits, always willing to help, and has great humor! My husband and I always have such great things to say about him after every visit there. Give Rory a raise ASAP! He truly deserves it! Thank you Rory for being so fantastic!
