  I highly recommend Simms Steakhouse for any and all of your special occasions or family get togethers. We have been going there for Thanksgiving and Christmas for many years now and everything from the valet parking to the steaks, buffets, and service is top notch! Christmas was especially special this year. All our servers over the years have been amazing but I want to make sure I give a special shout out to Sarah Jane (SJ). She remembered me as a customer and even remembered my name! Now, that is not an expectation I would ever have of anyone but how special is it that someone would remember your name? Just one of many examples of what makes Simms a special and wonderful place to go. Do yourself a favor and book a table at Simms!

  The service is fun, sociable and attentive. It is a really comfortable and welcoming environment. Classic and classy. The food is great! I haven't had a bad bite. So many friends who have lived in Lakewood for a long time consider Simms to be the best place to go for a celebration dinner. I enjoy a happy hour dinner with a wonderful view.

  My husband and another couple dined here on Christmas Day, just like we did last year. But the service and food were a bit disappointing this time and we don't plan to go back next Christmas, or ever again. My friend and I both wanted scallops, but they were already out of this option even though it was only 4:30 pm. We both ordered the salmon instead, but it was delivered raw, almost inedible. We took our dinners home, hoping we could salvage them. Also, my husband said his mashed potatoes were cold, as was my baked potato. My husband ordered his filet medium but it was very rare. He still tried to eat it, but ended up taking some home for the doggies. The waitress did not seem to have much time for us and never checked back to see if our dinners were OK. She didn't even come back to see if we wanted another round of drinks, which we did. Unfortunately, we didn't get a second drink. The restaurant was extremely noisy as we were seated by a large party and we could barely hear each other speak. We all agreed that this will no longer be our "go to" restaurant for Christmas dinner. We were very disappointed with our choice of restaurant but won't make that mistake again.

  My husband and I have been wanting to eat here for about 7 years and we finally did for her birthdays. The food was absolutely amazing. The service at first was good, but when we left it was kind of embarrassing and made us feel uncomfortable that we don't want to go back. My husband tipped our waitress $80 cash and he put it in his pocket walked away. My husband signed his credit card receipt and my father-in-law signed his credit card receipt. We left as we are walking down the steps. Our waiter come chases after us saying hey hey, we need the signed credit card receipt. My husband said we gave it to you and we both signed it. He said no, you did it. He looks at the pieces of paper he has and sees that there are two signatures and then proceeds and says what no tip. Excuse me, we handed you $80 cash for your tip more than 20% and you're going to be rude and say what no tip and chase after us for a piece of paper that you already had signed. You chased after us to basically get a tip from us when you already got a tip from us. So that was very uncomfortable and a situation that we will not experience again. Also my husband left his water bottle. They had my number because I made a reservation. They could have given us a call and let us know that we left something behind. We went to a new barber and the new barber called us to let us know we left something behind. You would think a place like this would have some more decency. Like I said food was great. Service was good at first beautiful establishment but we will not be returning. Very disappointed.

  We were invited to join friends to this restaurant for dinner. It was my first time dining here, but for the rest of the group , they’ve been here multiples of times. The restaurant has a panoramic view of the city of Denver. There are multi levels in the parking lot . I was wearing stiletto heals , so we went up by the entrance door where they have valet parking. It’s very convenient since you park right where the front door entrance is located and a valet attendant will greet you and park your car for you . The entrance way to the door has a nice appeal with a water feature. The inside if the restaurant has a classy look. With a fire feature when you walk in and multi level flooring. The dining tables are covered in a white table cloth and each table had a candle on top. The food selection was good. They have specials depending on the day. I chose prime rib and it cane either mashed potatoes and green beans. We also ordered cried calamari and clams. For desert , I had the chocolate cake. With a chocolate torte, complimentary for my birthday celebration. The service was fantastic. Nicholas was fun , fast , prompt and knowledgeable about the food served there. He made sure our orders came out the way we wanted and was prompt to fix what wasn’t to our liking. The bathroom was clean. The entire experience was wonderful. We had a beautiful view of the city from having a window side seating. I’ll definitely come back to dine here.
