- MCM CDec 28, 20251.0The blonde manager that reeks of cigarette smoke, maybe Katrina, not sure since she never wears her name tag is one of the rudest Safeway employees I’ve ever come across. She has an awful attitude and huffs and puffs whenever she has to interact with someone. She’s in a perpetually bad mood. She argues with the customers and was being rude to me when I was trying to return meat the store sold that was awful, just fat and bones. I had my receipt but she told me she wouldn’t give me my money back because the meat had been cooked. Safeway’s policy as it’s stated clearly on their website says you can return meat with a receipt for any reason. I didn't back down despite her rudely repeatedly telling me she wouldn’t refund my money. She finally gave me a refund but not without a sassy attitude. I used to shop at the Safeway on Colfax in Lakewood but switched to this store when it closed. I like the folks in the deli and the pharmacy here but that manager makes me not ever want to go to this location.

The management needs to train their staff better.
