    I haven't eaten here. Taco bell reviews start at 4 stars. But, only eat the soft/crunchy tacos and the bean burritos. Also open them before eating to add your hot sauce and check out the perfection of your meal.

    I stopped by the Taco Bell in Lafayette, CO (the one on W South Boulder Rd) hoping for a quick, decent meal, but this was one of the worst fast-food experiences I’ve had. The taco shells were completely stale—like they’d been sitting out for hours—and everything fried (chalupas and cinnamon twists) had this nasty, rancid, putrid taste that can only come from old fryer oil that hasn’t been changed in way too long. It was genuinely off-putting and made me worry about food safety. To top it off, the service was awful. The staff seemed rushed and uninterested, my order took forever despite the place not being busy, and they got part of it wrong anyway. No apology, no effort to make it right—just handed over the bag and moved on. I’ve seen similar complaints about this location (and others in the area) regarding stale items and inconsistent quality, so sadly I’m not surprised. Taco Bell can be hit-or-miss, but this was a hard miss. I’ll be driving to a different spot next time—or skipping it altogether. Definitely not recommended if you’re in Lafayette.

    Taco Bell in Lafayette, Colorado— Stale food and old fryer oil (which can definitely come across as putrid or rancid) are common complaints at this location and poor service on top of that makes it even worse. Close this location!!!!
