My family and I love Lazy Dog but most recently we dined for a birthday celebration and it was such a great experience. We sat outside next to the fire on a cloudy day and the vibes were amazing! Our server was attentive and made great recomendations while also having fun with our kids. We loved the honey feta dip! We also tried the Bison Meatloaf and the Rigatoni Pasta…yum! The kids meals are great portions for the price and the food is good quality. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This is our favorite restaurant in Highlands Ranch! The food is outstanding and affordable, the service is great and the atmosphere is fun. They have family nights for kids and the last time we went my kiddo enjoyed a coloring page with stickers and games. Joshua H was our server and he was SO friendly and accommodating! Hopefully we have him again next time! 100% recommend!!!

The service was incredible and friendly, this was our first time here so they gave us some complimentary chips and everything was delicious. Then we waited over 20 minutes for our food after we finished the appetizers. I ordered a side salad and it came out, looked great, but tasted exactly like fridge. I couldn't get over the smell and taste of it, it never went away. We eventually got our food, my meatloaf was warm and delicious. My husband ordered a bison burger, and it was cold. Not like it gradually gets cold but cold to the touch and the inside was cold. We NEVER have brought up a food concern while eating out, we're not picky, but he couldn't eat a cold burger. We didn't want to be "Karens" but we had to say something. Our waiter was very understanding, took it off the bill, and brought another bison burger out. This time it only took about 5 ish minutes. Excited, my husband took a bite, immediately put it back down. It was cold, again. The burger was cold to the touch like touching an ice cube. We were so disappointed after seeing all the good reviews and the friendly service but how can a burger come out cold, twice. At this point we gave up, paid, and left. We even offered to pay for the burger since it was taken off the bill but our waiter insisted, we hate complaining about food but we had to say something.

Would be an even better review if they treated me the same when dining in vs picking up an Uber eats delivery. or if the majority of the staff didn't just ignore anyone who is picking up, often for very long periods (for self or other's delivery and I get that they're busy, you might as well be actually invisible though) but the ones who are attentive do make up for the others! Also LOVE the food and events! My kids, doggo, and I had so much fun at Easter brunch! I hope we can make it a yearly tradition 💕 I've been for dinner before too, enjoyed that very much also ☺️

Honestly - going to stop frequenting here. I keep giving it chances, but the same crap keeps happening. Mediocre service, having to run waitresses down to get service, takes an hour for food etc. literally every time we sit at the fire pit I will literally start watching the clock and timing how long it takes for someone to acknowledge our existence. Half the time, once we finally wave someone down, we get some half excuse as the rationale. Today, not only did we experience that at the fire pits, we also had a server that kept “forgetting” to ask us for drink refills and putting in the food orders. Funny that midday (not busy) time takes about 45-60 minutes to get a chicken dog bowl alone. Lazy dog - you need to up your service game BIG TIME.
