I ordered a sheet cake online about a week before my party and when I arrived to pick up the order it was never processed because “the person in charge of online orders had been out for a few days”. So no one processed my order despite receiving a confirmation. I ended up with the an AWFUL cake they had with some sort of banana filling and then I guess there was some sort of ice cream or something frozen because when it was served two hours later, it was wet/soggy at the bottom.

This is not only dishonest behavior, but the sad side of humanity where you no longer have a fair chance at product because employees are gatekeeping the machines. They claim “we can use it on break” but are actively discussing and making use of the machine while on their shift, as I witnessed. This is the second occasion of this. Upon asking her name, and trying to look at her name badge, she covered it with her hand. Safeway policy states that employees must have a visible name tag at all times for customers to see, and deliberately covering the name tag is against company policy. Then on another occasion, I heard the old grey haired employee asking one of the kids stocking hot wheels, to ONLY look for treasure hunts. Safeways management and HR department will be contacted in reference to the dishonest behavior.
