  2026-Feb We visited Pei Wei in Highlands Ranch and had a quick, straightforward dining experience. There was plenty of parking, and only one other customer when we arrived. We placed our order with a staff member at the counter, paid, grabbed our drinks, some fortune cookies, and utensils, and seated ourselves. Our food was freshly made and came out quickly, which we appreciated. We ordered the Kung Pao Shrimp and the Mongolian Beef. Both dishes had good flavor, but they were a bit too saucy for my palate. I also ordered brown rice, which unfortunately wasn’t cooked evenly — some grains were hard while others were fine. Overall, it was a decent stop for a fast meal, but the food execution could have been better. Bon Appétit 😋

  Ordered delivery and set time for 5:30pm. No knock on the door and saw a bag on my porch at 5:26. Brought in food that was cold and missing items. Called the restaurant and they refused to deliver the missing items wanted me to pick them up. I paid their $1.99 and $2.99 service fees for delivery plus 20% tip and felt I shouldn’t have to go pick up the food that I paid to have delivered. I told him I wasn’t picking it up. He said he would credit me. I told him I wanted credit for the delivery fee and the tip as well and as of now I still have not received any money back. I was fine with missing the food, mistakes happen. But to require me to pick it up instead of sending out their delivery guy to fix the mistake they made, was not acceptable to me. I spent $70 for Chinese food. They could have at least made it right and just delivered my missing food.

  Okay, this was going to be a 1-star review. Whoever their manager is, is an absolute tool. Why? He didn't enter my order correctly, so I was led on the entire order that it was entered correctly, and when I picked it up, the surety with which he told me it's all correct was very.....shall we say....assuring. Then I drive the 15 minutes home only to find out it's all jacked up. So I call and go off on a dude and then hung up. I've had a bad day....sorry not sorry. So I drive all the way back and I worked so late today that I STILL have not seen my family and now they are eating without me while I go try to make this right. Tool-manager is gone when I get there....go figure. A VERY nice guy who is the shift lead, he helped me, was so calm, and I wasn't mean to him at all. He was just a very nice dude (name is Mark) and HE should be the store manager and they should fire the tool-manager for being a dummy. This took my rating to 5 stars. It all tastes good, is easy on the wallet in a short notice especially, and the people there that actually work are the ones that are just really nice. I went from (I can't say it out loud here) to just calm and peaceful and I strongly recommend this place, BUT check your stuff first.
