My lunch sat on the counter for quite a while before I finally went up to ask if it was mine—only to be met with an annoyed look. As I walked away, I overheard the same employee complaining that she needed a day off. Panera used to feel so warm and welcoming, but this visit felt the opposite—almost like stepping into the twilight zone.

I called my husband to make sure of the location and he said he received an email saying it was ready. I then told the same lady what my husband said and she then told me to see the cashier. I was there longer than I needed to be. His sandwich and soup was fine but I had ordered tomato basil bread and soup but received more like Italian bread. I’ve had their tomato basil bread and it definitely wasn’t that. Also I received more like 1/4 of a sandwich instead of 1/2. I felt like the employees were not happy. Seemed disorganized and no one ever smiled. Not sure if I’ll be going back there again.
