Maybe people called out sick or something, but every table was left un-bussed and the dishes in the bar were stacked up. The couple of waiters working were doing their best and prioritizing customers, i hope they are not having to deal with that kind of working conditions all the time.

- AGAmanda GlennDec 21, 20253.0I came in for a special Christmas dinner with a 94yr old family member. We were seated in the back corner by the kitchen and we were freezing. The heat kept turning off and we would have to put on our coats. Even with our coats on, our feet were still freezing. Our food tasted good but got cold quickly given the temperature in the restaurant and it was difficult to enjoy because we were so cold. Our server was phenomenal and every time she noticed us putting our coats on she would go turn the heat back on. I just don’t know why it was on a timer rather than a thermostat that would keep a consistent temperature. The food tasted good but it was difficult to enjoy our experience given the significant temperature fluctuations throughout the meal.

She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. She had great timing, checked in without being overbearing, and made us feel genuinely welcome. It’s rare to get service that stands out this much, and Tess truly went above and beyond. Because of her, I’ll definitely be coming back! The manager Jules was fantastic as well!

The steaks were wonderful and my wife enjoyed the Toowoomba salmon (salmon with a seasoned shrimp sauce.) We had Tess as our server and she was absolutely wonderful. We had a full table of family and she was attentive, but did not interrupt our conversations. She even refilled my diet coke with lime (remembering the lime) without me needing to ask or her interrupting.
