Today we opted for delivery because it was more convenient, but the driver either could not find our room in the School of Mines or didn't go into it to deliver - the reason was quite unclear. Apparently he tried calling us, but the calls never came through. Same for his "manager." As a result, the delivery ended up arriving 30 minutes late. When we called the store, we first spoke to two different gentlemen who were very kind and understanding. The second one said he needed to talk to someone to see what happened. Suddenly an EXTREMELY rude woman, who I am guessing is the "manager" answered the phone, told us about the calls they made in a very hostile tone, and informed us that we backed up the rest of her orders for the night because we didn't answer a call that never came through on our end. I am sorry for the trouble our technical difficulties caused you ma'am, but you need to work on your people skills. I even tried to level with her and say that I understood she followed protocol, but it isn't our fault that we didn't receive the calls, especially when people were present in the room and ready to receive the order. I eventually had to hang up on her because she was so hostile that I started having a panic attack. If I were the store owner, I would get a new manager.
