1/6/2026 we have been at many other Chipotle, locations, and have enjoyed the food. However, this location in Frederick, Colorado seems to still be struggling. Our order tonight revealed very, very salty. The brown rice was not fully cooked much of it was still hard and crunchy. I ordered a large queso and when I got home, realized that the cup was only half full.
Our last experience was not good either, but I was hopeful that since it had been at least a month or more that the problems would have been ironed out. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. We really like chipotle food so hopefully this location can Resolve all the problems that they have.

I’ve tried on multiple occasions to enjoy eating here however, every time I’ve gone I’ve encountered different issues.
The first day I tried this locations, on their opening day, the ice machine was not working. Their meat was very salty and hard to enjoy.
Another time I went, I waited over an hour for an online order, seems as though this is a constant issue where customers are having to wait an unreasonable amount of time for their food.
Lastly, when I got to the protein options, I was told there was no steak, barbacoa, carne asada, or chicken. I was only told it would “be a minute” when I asked how long exactly, I was told 15 minutes. I decided to leave.
Not once was I advised beforehand there was hardly any protein options. An employee was laughing while I was being told this.
I love Chipotle very much however, I will not be returning to this location.

When they first announced that this location was opening in town, I, among many were so excited to see chipotle finally make its way to Firestone. The first few times were okay the lobby was always packed and trashed and since it was a new location I figured the staff still needed to work out the kinks of a new location this was back in oct. However, now in December the food is so much over salted and the guac is never stored correctly and even when I asked for fresh guac it was still brown. The employee on the line straight up told me “even if i change it, it will be the same” and then she proceeded to dump the old guac on top of the new prepped guac and she was right the guac was brown. (A prep/supply issue) Every single time I’ve gone whether it’s for lunch or dinner there is always a food item missing. The employees are constantly on cloud 9 which to me is no problem but when you can’t even make the food correctly that’s when it becomes a problem. I’ve seen the other previous reviews and it seems that most people agree that this location is definitely not being ran to chipotle standards. I hope this location can be more consistent on their food items and quality.

I go to Chipotle often, so when a new location opened in my area, I was excited to try it out. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst Chipotle experiences I’ve had.
From the moment I walked in, the environment felt off. The employees all seemed to be in bad moods, and the overall vibe was tense and uncomfortable. While I was being helped, the young lady preparing my food scooped the white rice that had been all over the prep table back into the container for the rice. She also had to stop what she was doing because the customer ahead of us was standing at the register for an unusually long time. Management was standing right there the entire time, yet instead of stepping in, the employee had to stop and ask if someone needed to ring him out. The manager then yelled loudly to the back to get someone up front. Another employee came up looking visibly irritated and rang the customer out with a bad attitude.
The food was just as disappointing. I ordered a quesadilla and received what can only be described as a blob (see photo) with two large chunks of barbacoa instead of shredded meat properly placed in a tortilla like an actual quesadilla. The chips were soggy, and overall the food quality was well below what I expect from Chipotle.
To make matters worse, for 2 items, chips and queso the total came up to $44. For that price, I shouldn’t have to deal with poor service, a hostile environment, and badly prepared food. This location seriously needs better leadership, employee training, and quality control. Management was visibly present yet ineffective, which clearly set the tone for the entire experience.
Chipotle is not cheap, and customers should not be paying premium prices for disorganized service, hostile attitudes, and poorly prepared food. Corporate should be aware of what’s happening at this location because it does not meet Chipotle’s standards. I hope this location takes accountability and makes major changes in the future
Oh, then I discovered the girl at the register charged me for 2 large queso cups, when I only ordered one. She then refunded me the one with attitude
The food is mostly as good as any location. The last time we were here, the meat looked old, dry, crusty, etc.
It is the dirtiest of any location I've ever been to. Tables and floors are always filthy. No one is ever cleaning anything. Chipotle has a reputation for being a very clean establishment. This location egregiously misses the mark.
It is also the loudest restaurant I have ever been in. I am trying to do this review voice to text and I have started over 3 times. I'm legit yelling into my phone to write this... Not only is the music loud, it's not restaurant appropriate. More like a house party. My husband said it was the awful music you'd hear in an ultra hip clothing store.
I'm not sure we've ever seen an adult on staff that is managing the flow and efficiency of workers.
I have never been to a Chipotle that is more memorable in the worst way.
We didn't even get to order this visit. The line wasn't moving after ten minutes. I couldn't get the tables clean with water and napkins, and it was honestly so loud,I couldn't wait to get out of there.
I was so excited to have a Chipotle in the area, but until the reviews improve, we'll go to the Longmont location instead.
