  Popped in for a can opener and was directed to the right aisle by friendly,helpful staff.Now our pup can have pumpkin again in her dinner now that we can get into the cans!!Love Safeway!Always helpful!

  After more than a decade of patronage—during which I have consistently spent several thousand dollars per month—I regret to inform you that I will no longer be a customer at Safeway. While I have long overlooked the store’s persistently substandard management practices—including an atmosphere of unwarranted suspicion toward customers, a sense of being hurried through transactions, and an overall dismissive and burdensome tone—these concerns have now escalated beyond what can reasonably be tolerated. A particular cashier, Rose, has on multiple occasions created an exceptionally hostile and degrading customer experience. Her demeanor is not only unprofessional but conveys what appears to be a targeted and potentially prejudicial animus. Until recently, I was willing to dismiss her conduct as poor customer service; however, her actions have now crossed into territory that raises serious legal concerns. I am currently consulting with legal counsel, who has advised me to refrain from disclosing specific details publicly at this time due to the potential for forthcoming litigation. That said, it is both appropriate and necessary to formally notify you that, in her current capacity, this employee represents a material liability to your organization. Each continued interaction involving her increases the risk of further legal exposure. If I were responsible for overseeing a business of this nature, I would treat such counsel with the utmost gravity and take immediate, decisive action to mitigate that risk.

  This was the first time we visited this store and we found the club soda right away and there was plenty. The self-checkout line was short at the time we were there.

  Obviously high priced items and their deli has been way off! Can never get pre-made things that don't expire immediately. Hope they get it together but it's been this way for at least 6 months.
