Edited on 1-April-2026:
I would like to thank McDonald's for responding to my original review and providing the web link for me to explain my issue with the Big Arch Burger on my original visit.
Also, I would like to thank Julie, the store manager, who personally called me and invited me back to try a free meal - a nice gesture to make things right.
So, I visited this McDonalds branch again and I tried the Big Arch Meal again, but I asked Julie to make sure the two beef patties were cooked more thoroughly.
Yes! This time the Big Arch Burger was much better. The texture was firmer and the amount of burger juice/grease was reduced. The burger did not dissolve the bun and it was much more easy to eat. I noticed that this burger had less "Arch Sauce" on it and maybe that also contributed to a less messy eating experience.
In the future, I will ask for the Big Arch Patties to be cooked more well done.
Kudos to Julie and her team to make the situation right. I have changed my original score from 3 stars to 5 stars. Also, I want to emphasize that even in the original visit, the employees at this McDonalds were friendly and professional with quick service. Also, the restaurant is very clean.
I will be back when I need my next McDonalds fix. Thanks again!
PS: Good job McDonalds for having responsive customer service and feedback channels.

See below for original review from my early March visit.
-----------------------------
A few weeks ago when the Big Arch Burger launched in early March 2026, I decided to check out a McDonald's in Fort Collins. (I recently moved back to the USA after living a few decades in Asia. I try McDonald's in every country I visit.)
My daughter and I decided to dine inside the restaurant because I just don't trust the drive-in window and we had some free time.
I also don't like those George Orwell View Screens that McDonald's wants us to order our food from. But in the USA, I suppose we need these so that we can reduce the counter head count and McDonald's can cut HR costs to enhance their profitability for a reduction in customer service. Dystopia is creeping up on us.
"The Product" - We each ordered the Big Arch Set that included the Big Arch Burger, a fountain drink and fries. I was really looking forward to trying the combination of the two quarter pounder burgers, the three slices of cheese, the crispy onions and the fresh, sliced onions, with pickles and the tangy Big Arch sauce. Oh! And the new sesame and poppy seed bun! Well, here in Fort Collins, that Big Arch Set goes for $11.99. Two of them including tax comes to $25.91. I started questioning my judgement.
Well, the burger was a bit of a mess. It's quite juicy, saucy and cheesy, but the texture was mushy and the burger bun started to dissolve quickly. I was hungry and I devoured the Big Arch quickly, but I must say that the meat didn't seem very flavorful. The texture was too soft. I'm thinking that this burger may have been undercooked. The new, tangy arch sauce isn't as good as Mac sauce. I wouldn't rate this burger more than a 3 out of 5. The fries were fresh and crisp and I made multiple re-fill trips to the soda machine. (At least we have that...)
The service employee who brought out our Big Arch sets to our table was friendly and had a big smile. This aspect of the visit was very nice.
Also, the restaurant was clean and well maintained. There were not very many customers dining in though.
All in all, I feel that the Big Arch Burger is rather "meh". I probably won't order it again.
Luckily, I kept my receipt, filled out the online survey and got my validation number. I will return to this McDonald's restaurant to order the "buy one / get one" burger deal as listed on my receipt. This time, I'll probably just order Big Macs.
I remembered to take some photos. What do you guys think of the Big Arch Burger?
