Once they buy the product the next product could take hours to became available. It’s not fair they get to loiter the machines but customers aren’t allowed to. Watched the cart guy check it multiple times to check it when I came in for some food in a 15 minute timeframe. I spoke to the front end store manager who was extremely rude regarding my complaint.

He admitted he doesn't know how to operate the self check out system. As a previous grocery store employee, he is the most incompetent store manager I have ever experienced talking to or asking for help. This morning I pressed for help and he saw me waiting and decided to help every man before me, even though they checked out after me. He then denied and lied about being the store manager. He refused to give me his name so I can file a complaint with corporate. This location is closest to my residence but I will be driving to the Drake location and spending my money there. Worst customer experience I have repeatedly experienced every time I have an interaction with this man in the mornings at Safeway.
