Crappiest store ever. One star is one too many. Looks like a wasteland of spoiling vegetables. I went in two hours before they closed tonight to get cough medicine for my kid. I guess they need to check my ID to buy it? But apparently ONE PERSON works there, we are expected to bag our groceries. The one employee who was there as I self-checked refused to make eye contact and come over, ignoring the flashing light above me. Eventually I gave up. I hope it closes soon, the best outcome for this horrible place is to plow it down and plant trees. I will never shop there again.

First time at this particular store. Nice staff and clean store but you need more than two automated carts for that size store

ROSE in bakery was very helpful, kind and courteous. She helped me buy several no-sugar added desserts. Great job & thank you. Also, at the checkout JAMES was also very courteous. Two great team members at Safeway on LeMay. (11-9-25)

I'm tired of the constant reduction of staff. The same employee that was overseeing the automatic self-checkout stations was also trying to deal with customer service. I have a problem with the stations and I waited about 5 to 10 minutes until I get tired and left. Good to remember that the self-checkout is also a strategy to reduce personnel and costs putting the burden on the customer. The fact that this strategy is used by the competition as well doesn't make it any better.
For the rest: the staff, when available, is very nice and polite. I'm not discussing the quality of the products here
