Seafood Restaurant
We don’t take ourselves too seriously at Jax Fish House. Two things we do take seriously? The freshness and sustainability of our seafood. You know fresh fish when you see, smell, and taste it—and thanks to modern delivery technology, we bring in that freshy-fresh seven days a week.
Sustainability is a little more complicated. Not all commercial fisheries are created equal. That’s why we work closely with our suppliers and science-based organizations to ensure that every single thing we serve is responsibly sourced. We consider the stocks of the species we source to prevent overfishing and we work with suppliers who harvest in ways that have minimal impacts on marine environments.

They need to update the on line menu. I went for the lobster roll but was told they replaced it with katsu Sanyo 6 months ago. I tried it but was not impressed. It didn't even taste like lobster and it was $36.00

Food and service were Very Good!
But the noise/loudness level of the 'music' was soo high that one could not have a conversation = too hard to hear anything anyone across the table or next to you was saying. We asked our server, but he said it was management decision. He told us we were fortunate we were there in late afternoon cause it's far louder later in the evening.

Went for happy hour. Drinks and food were good. I particularly liked the Mussels and calamari. Was not impressed with the shrimp toast.

One of the few places I can go gluten free and not feel handicapped. Happy hour 330-530pm is best deal in town! Chris, who takes care of the bar, is amazing!

Just the best! So fresh and delicious! We had calamari, oysters, steak, salmon and chowder. My only suggestions would be to add some nutmeg to the chowder and to use a better coffee brand*.
(I wish I could remember our server's name. He was so helpful, patient and informative!)
*The last taste in your mouth when leaving such a great restaurant shouldn't be a bad cup of coffee!
