We visited on a Thursday night at 630pm. By 730pm the place was empty and by 8pm we were feeling guilty for lingering, but they were open until 9pm. The food was very good but priced on the higher end. Service was a bit lacking, we had to request water refills. I feel like the waitress went off to do her closing duties since the place was empty and forgot us out there on the floor.

I had the gluten free pasta. I know that can be hit or miss but it was so overcooked that it turned into a cardboard tasting paste. What a shame since the sauce was very good. Filled up on the salad and shared my daughter’s salmon and mashed potatoes which were both delicious. If your cooks are not familiar with how to cook gluten free pasta, please take this option off of your menu

We used to order pick up all the time, and over the last year the quality and service has plummeted to absolutely unacceptable levels. Tonight we ordered Chicken Parmesan and Lasagne, and a mozzarella stick appetizer. We drove to pick up the food at the time per our text confirmation, and waited over 20 minutes in the pick-up spot but ultimately had to go in. They forgot the mozzarella and when we noticed, they claimed they were out, but charged us anyway until we refused to pay for the appetizer that was not received. What we did get was totally burned, yet cold in the middle. Obviously reheated over and over. The salad was 1/4 the size it used to be and looked like it had been eaten by someone else. Probably scraped from an in-restaurant plate from another customer.
Cost? $65 for a pick up order BEFORE the 18% tip they automatically add to equal $80+.
We will never be Carrabas customers again, and it's their loss--time for this outdated, overpriced, poorly managed restaurant to close their doors. Clearly the owner of this chain doesn't care about customers, service, or quality.

My wife and I went to this restaurant because of how close it was to our home( 3 min). The serving staff is severely understaffed as there was one waitress. Food was okay, nothing to write home about. We were there during happy hour on a Thursday, so appetizers were cheap. We definitely felt like we were cheated, for the amount of money we spent( which is extremely rare, and I usually tip at least 40% of the meal cost if it is deserved). I order a beer at the beginning of the meal, and didn't receive it until the whole meal was consumed, and considered sending it back... But, they were so expensive that I decided to sit after the meal to drink it. I hate writing about these kinds of encounters.
