Chicken was great as advertised! The buffalo honey were ok but were pretty mushywhen they arrived and not nearly as flavorful. The brussel sprouts were excellent. The server was helpful and very friendly as well.

The Post Mountain House in Estes Park has a beautiful rustic design that perfectly matches the mountain town atmosphere—warm, cozy, and full of character.
The food was outstanding, especially the fried chicken—crispy on the outside, juicy and full of flavor on the inside. Easily one of the best I’ve had. Their house-brewed beer was also a highlight, especially the strawberry flavor, which was refreshing, slightly sweet, and perfectly balanced.
The staff were incredibly friendly and took the time to explain everything in detail. As visitors from Taiwan, even though English isn’t our first language, we felt very welcomed and well taken care of.
Great atmosphere, great food, and great beer—definitely worth a visit.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable meal at the Post. We split a "small" salad which was plenty for two, as a warm up to some delicious cheeseburgers. Our waiter Ryan B. was awesome - politely providing just the right amount of attention. A warning - the side dish green chile mac & cheese is serious! One complaint (which I find myself offering more and more frequently) is that some items (such as the burgers) are a bit oversalted which is, if course a silly thing since you can't "unsalt" food but you CAN use the convenient shaker if you want more! But, go to the Post and enjoy!

We ate here before our ghost tour at the Stanley because it was conveniently located on the property. The atmosphere and food were great but the service was outstanding. Our waiter (I think his name was Randy? I know it started with an R!) was hands down one of the best I've ever had. He was attentive, checked on us regularly, cleaned crumbs off our table between the appetizer and main course, gave my daughter a free dessert with a little extra and was just super friendly.
We ordered the half chicken plate and I split that with my daughter. She said it was the best fried chicken ever! We also got the pretzel board appetizer. The soft pretzel was a little hard as I think it might have been sitting out but it was still yummy.
Don't forget to visit the restroom in the basement, which is by the theater and library!

Hey, getting a meal and being able to see longs peak in rmnp is pretty awesome. Staff was super friendly. Beers are delicious. My wife has a tasty cocktail as well. Fried chicken sandwich was delicious. Kids friendly. Had to wait a little bit to get a table but wasn't bad. Put in a reservation.
