This place hit all the marks! Food: The chicken strips are a high-quality of meat, with crispy breading that is not the least bit greasy. The homemade ranch to dip it in was the perfect tang, and the mac & cheese was hot and fresh. For dessert, I had the toffee pudding, which is not really a pudding, but is a warm cake with caramel sauce and butterscotch ice cream on top. Absolutely delicious! Service: Joshua and Joel were excellent servers, just the right amount of attention and recommendations from the menu. Atmosphere: Located in the Stanley hotel, the history and ambience here cannot be beat. As I walk around these buildings, I try to imagine all the various people who have been in them in the last hundred or so years… you can easily lose yourself in your thoughts as you walk around here. This is a great way to spend an evening.

Came here while visiting Estes. Melissa was our server and was fantastic. I watched her work her other tables and saw her interaction with her customer. The Post is fortunate to have such a person with the mindset Melissa does. She truly embodies the "do your job with joy" mentality! Be glad you have her "Post" Manager. And be glad I don't own a resturant. If I did..., I'd try like hell to poach her from you.

The food was amazing. We had chicken and waffles and the chicken biscuit with eggs and the donut hole appetizer the fried stuff seemed like it wasn't fried in oil. There was nothing greasy and you wouldn't know everything was gluten free unless you read the menu. Would recommend to anyone going to Estes Park

My spouse and I stopped by The Post for a pre-concert dinner on a Friday night. We didn't have a reservation, but had no issues grabbing a couple of seats at the bar. The atmosphere was busy, but warm and inviting. We ordered the hushpuppies as an app, and the OG chicken sandwich and bison burger, both with the green chile mac and cheese for our mains. Everything was incredibly fresh, hot, and delicious! The chicken sandwich was pretty large, and the pickle relish that came with it was so good. The bison burger was cooked perfectly and the cream cheese and mushrooms really enhanced the flavor. The hushpuppies in the honey chile sauce were just the right size, and not too spicy at all. The green chili Mac and cheese had quite a bite to it, definitely spicy! The service was genuinely friendly, and we enjoyed chatting with the bar tender. Pricing was on point for the area, and parking was free during the off season. Definitely a good choice if you're visiting Estes!
