There is rarely more than a single cashier and they never have all self checkouts open. Check out lines wrap completely through multiple sections at basically all times of the day on a daily basis. Safeway should be ashamed of how this store represents their corporation.

I am a Colorado Native born and raised, I've lived in this lovely state going on 40 years. I thought I could seek hospitality and refuge from the cold while I sorted out my ride home. Most of the staff were understanding and helpful except a couple of the Hispanic female employees. The management called the police on me and lied to them saying I was trespassing and not purchasing anything just loitering. First off I bought multiple items which made me a paying customer. I also explained to the staff my situation. They acknowledged and gave off the impression that it was fine. Apparently they told the police I didn't purchase anything and now I am not allowed on the property due to their false statements. Absolutely ridiculous!! I am a home owner, full time working contributer to society and was treated like dirt from their prejudice profiling and stereotyping vision on some one in need . I'm not homeless I wasn't stealing anything.Absolutely discrimination and a disgrace to customer service. I'm glad I'm banned from there because I would never give them my business ever again. Goes to show that these people are so conservative they forgot to open their eyes and treat human beings with compassion and or respect. Truly pathetic service I must say just unbelievable!
