I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to find everything I needed, even with the store being busy. One thing to note is that the store can get very crowded, particularly during peak visiting hours and weekends. With so many tourists in the area, it’s understandable, but it does mean the checkout lines can get long. Still, despite the volume of customers, the staff was consistently friendly, patient, and welcoming, which really helped balance out the wait. Everyone I interacted with seemed to be working hard to keep things moving. The store and aisles were clean and organized, and it’s a convenient stop whether you’re staying nearby or just passing through. Overall, Safeway offers a reliable shopping experience in a busy mountain town—good selection, friendly service, and worth the stop, even if you have to wait a bit at checkout.
