  This has to be the nicest Kroger I have ever been inside of. Have I been to bigger? Yes! Newer? Yes! Both within the same zip code, even! But this one just had a pleasing layout, was so clean, well-stocked, and the staff were all very friendly to me while I was shopping there for the first time this morning. I literally live behind the King Soopers in Gunbarrel and can walk there in less than 3 minutes from my house, but it’s a small store with a very limited selection. As of today, this became my go-to store.

  It’s basically a grocery store where everything is weighed. The problem is that if you move an empty bag around while opening it before filling it, the self-checkout system gets confused and throws errors. Prices are on the higher side, while the quality feels pretty average.

  I never write reviews, but this experience has pushed me to my limit. The Pickup department has gone seriously downhill. Orders take an unreasonable amount of time now, and standing around waiting feels like the norm. Don’t even get me started on the produce they provide! The ONLY reason I kept coming to this store was because Pickup USED to be incredibly fast—I’m talking under two minutes, sometimes even one. Clearly, that standard no longer exists. What really sent me over the edge is watching the managers (Erica & Barbara?) leave food out and basically expect customers to bag their own items! That is absolutely NOT my job as a paying customer. The whole operation feels chaotic and poorly managed. This department used to be run so much better, and the difference is painfully obvious. Management needs to get it together, because this level of service is unacceptable.
