    Colorado chili is not the same as NM. It was like spicy bell peppers. We used the sauces on the table to help pep it up a bit. I don't care much for smothered because you can't actually see the food you're eating. It had a nice atmosphere. (It could have been an off day for the staff but we got food with no silverware; we were told free refills on the soda but we were double charged.)

    Great little diner with phenomenal service and the food is so good. Had the Cajun Wreck, perfect balance of heat with the green chile and andouille sausage.

    Historic down home diner that focuses on their famous green chili and making everything from scratch. The space is tight... mostly bar seating, with a few tables in back and front. Not for a crowd, but kid friendly/ kid menu available! They sell shirts and green chili up front too. Food is always delicious and authentic and friendly fast service.

    Every year when we travel to Durango we carve out one morning to eat breakfast at our favorite spot. We go once a year and the waitresses even remember our kids (maybe because they are outrageous and not something we should admit). We love the atmosphere and small diner feel, but the real draw is the amazing food and incredible staff. Good quality at a moderate price point. We will be back every year! Could not recommend more. Oh and just get 1 cinnamon roll to split for two kids.

    This is my favorite diner in America. The staff are very attentive, friendly, and quick. You can watch them freshly shred potatoes to make the hashbrowns. The biscuit was fluffy and warm, and “The cure” with bacon was delicious. 10/10, I’ll be back again.
