Oh em gee. So last time I ate at this Subway was close to a year ago, and they didnt have any fountain pop. They gave me a warm coke. The owner, or idk who, sat and talked super loud on his cell phone and counted money. It was a strange experience, but, whatever, it was the only restaurant open.
Fast forward a year.... I wait in line, and decide on this two slider meal and a fountain drink for $4.99, I wanted two, one for me, and one for my daughter. The lady was like, nope, we don't have sliders here, so, I asked her why they had the sign if they don't have the product. Then, all of the sudden she didnt speak English. Ok, ok, fine, I order a spicy Italian on white, and as I'm waiting I notice, and I seriously kid you not, I look over, and they don't have fountain pop STILL! Anywho, they pass my sub off to the guy who adds the veggies, and I asked him to toast it before we put the vegetables on it. He literally told me 'I cant do that' FYI, the toaster machine is directly in front of me. So I ask"you dont have the sandwich I want, but have a sign for it, you dont have cookies, or fountain soda and you can't toast a sub either?! Can you warm it in the microwave? Do you have microwave?"
"I cant do that" me "why?" Then all of the sudden, he could. And low and behold, I got a WARM coke. I get subways are franchises, but datum! I'm from Portland Oregon, Subways are a dime a dozen, some are better than others. This place is a joke, does Subway have any regulations at all for a restaurant running with 75 employees and none of them can seem to do anything? It's sad, because of the construction and midnight flights it is the only place you can eat at if you are waiting for arrivals or departures. Let's recap, horrid service, has signs for food they don't have, no soda, if you pay twice the cost for a fountain you can get a warm 20oz coke. They can, then can't speak to you, and they are unable to warm your sandwich in any capacity...
So, go Subway! You guys closed 1100 stores in 2018, it's not the prices, it is the lack of customer service and owners who dont want to fulfill their end of the deal, like supplying the food you guys sell. I'm assuming the actual owner will never read this, hopefully corporate will
