I unfortunately shop there frequently because it's close to my house but today I was stopped by a very rude security guard and forced to unload everything I had just purchased out of my backpack and spread it out on to the floor where he searched through it and then refused to help me pick it up. I won't be shopping here again.

They arrive from the store w the lid off bc i guess it pops up when someone grabs them

It has been months since I’ve been in a Safeway, and when I finally run in for some quick items I’m met with security gates that go off because I have to backtrack to find a cart. The employees had to shuffle me to a path that wouldn’t set off any alarms, and while I was in the store the alarms went off several more times. Treating your customers and the neighborhoods you reside in like criminals is a really bad look. I won’t be coming back.
