Today was a peculiar experience during my regular visit to McDonald’s. I usually place my order through the app and pick it up almost every day at this location, since it’s very close to me.
However, something unusual happened today. I placed my order through the app and gave my code as usual. As I’ve been instructed every time, I proceeded to the second window as always.
When I got there, a young employee, run from first window to second window and who seemed very upset, told me I needed to stop at the first window. I explained that I had a mobile order code, but she insisted in a rude and aggressive manner that I had to stop at the first window. I said No, I repeated that I had a code, and she responded by telling me not to come back to this location.
I told her I would call the police and then rolled up my window. The other employees appeared to hear the interaction.
This McDonald’s is very convenient for me, and I visit almost daily. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I’ve experienced unprofessional or inappropriate behavior from staff at this location. It seems that the employees do not like me to stop there.
Also, I’ve noticed an ongoing issue with the mobile app orders. Every time I visit, I have to sign out because my previous order code still appears in the system, as if it was never cleared. The only way to fix it is to sign out and then sign back in so the last order disappears. This happen almost every day.
Please make sure that employees are properly clearing completed orders from the system, as they seem to accumulate. At least, this has been my experience. And please ensure your team is trained to provide professional and respectful customer service. I will continue visiting this location because of its convenience, but I expect to be treated with respect.

How difficult is it to get a simple iced coffee drink order correct? Apparently, very difficult. This is not the first time that this has happened to me. This consistently happens at this particular McDonald's. Attempting to do any sort of communication through the drive-thru is an absolute abomination. Combine the fact that the speaker system is terrible with the fact that there is always a language barrier with one of the workers, and it's easy to see why this continues to be a problem. Don't even think about going inside and having an actual person come and take your order. You are literally forced to use the automated menu. I don't eat their food anyway, but I'll stop even going by there for coffee going forward. Buyer beware.

Went inside to eat and waited 30 minutes for the food to come. We were not the only ones there were several angry customers and door dashers. Fries were piping hot but everything else was cold.
