We don’t take ourselves too seriously at Jax Fish House. Two things we do take seriously? The freshness and sustainability of our seafood. You know fresh fish when you see, smell, and taste it—and thanks to modern delivery technology, we bring in that freshy-fresh seven days a week.
Sustainability is a little more complicated. Not all commercial fisheries are created equal. That’s why we work closely with our suppliers and science-based organizations to ensure that every single thing we serve is responsibly sourced. We consider the stocks of the species we source to prevent overfishing and we work with suppliers who harvest in ways that have minimal impacts on marine environments.

- RCRobert Cash3 days ago2.0Kind of overpriced for what you get. I called and specifically made a reservation for tonight they told us we could be early or late for the reservation and we were about 15 minutes late to the reservation.. after they called us to make sure we were still on our way we got seated in the back right by the bathrooms and the busy food service line. Someone broke a glass behind us. And another set of waiters crashed and spilled food on the other side of us. Our bill was over $150 ( after paying $35 for parking) and I still needed a hamburger after eating my entire scallop place. I kind of felt like the entrées were appetizers.

I ended up coming here two nights in a row because one visit just wasn't enough to soak it all in. First off, the food: these are hands down the freshest oysters I’ve had in the city. The quality is top-tier, and the flavors are spot on. But what really sets this place apart is the atmosphere. It has the best vibe and the most engaging conversation you’ll find in the downtown area. A huge shoutout to Noah, Buddy and Justin—these guys made the experience truly amazing. It’s rare to find a place where you can feel like a "regular" on your very first visit, but they made it happen. Their service and hospitality are world-class. I’d honestly fly back to Denver just to eat here again. Do not miss this spot!

The people are so friendly, the food is absolutely amazing, and the prices are very reasonable. We went for our anniversary this year and everyone even congratulated us on the occasion and as an extremely nice touch, that I have never seen before, gave us a signed card by the staff! That touch was incredible! We have never been anywhere that they do that! It's the little things that matter and these guys have it down! We will absolutely go back every chance we get! Thank you to the staff at jax you are amazing!
