  We had sushi rolls here, and I was impressed. The rolls were sizeable, and the taste and textures were super fresh. My son raved about the gyoza, and my daughter enjoyed the sesame chicken. Both of my children are rather picky. We will definitely dine here again. My wife and I both highly recommend the "crazy roll".

  Stumbled upon this in a google search and came here with my family on a Friday evening. After the experience we had I’m shocked we were able to get a table, clearly people just haven’t caught on yet but once they do, prepare accordingly. The ambiance was beautiful, fun and funky but not overdone, they played good music which fit the mood well. The food was exceptional. We had Garlic Edamame, Egg Rolls and Miso Soup for Apps, all were fantastic. Two had sushi for dinner and the fish was fresh and rice was cooked to perfection. I had the tonkatsu ramen and was thoroughly impressed, better than many “acclaimed” ramen spots in Denver. This will be a mainstay for me, it’s great too because it has variety so if someone wants sushi and someone wants ramen another person wants donburi, you can do it all.

  Waiters are very attentive and food is very good and fresh. I have been here multiple times and never had bad service or food sooo not sure what the bad reviews are referring to. Really good spot for some sushi and dinner plates. These pictures are wagu beef, spicy titanic roll. The appetizer was Japanese jalapeno poppers with tempura batter, sooooo good!

  If you want an actual authentic Japanese dinner, if you want someplace where they actually care about the freshness of the fish how good the ramen is, and how fast everything came out. I am just utterly blown away. I have been to I think almost every single Japanese place in Colorado. And for the price point, this is the best place I’ve been to.

  Stopped by Japon on Colfax for lunch recently and it ended up being a great find. I hadn’t really heard of it before, but it’s one of those spots currently dealing with all the construction in the area, so it’s definitely worth supporting. The food was fresh, well prepared, and really enjoyable across the board. The seafood especially stood out and honestly just proves that being in a landlocked state doesn’t mean you can’t get good seafood. Service was excellent as well. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience feel easy and relaxed. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to.
