- SSScooternmoe6 days ago2.0Wife and I got to the airport early to grab a bite before our straight through flight. We sat at the bar. Here is the quick breakdown. The beer was cold! The burger was okay, the fries were cold and stale, the lady waiting at the bar was visibly not impressed to be there. She never came back to check on us, finished my wife’s Coke because my beer was empty. She spent more time talking to the other waitstaff complaining about HR than checking on us. I also gave a low tip for the same reasons. I understand it’s in an airport but service is service.

But due to my dietary restrictions (gluten & dairy free, plus vegetarian) there were very few options for me to get something hot. I opted for just some fries because those tend to be safe for me. However, after my first bite of fry I immediately knew something wasn’t right. I also immediately called my husband to look up what they were fried in because I was hurrying back to my gate to not be late. ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE (or at least nowhere that I could see or noticed) was it advertised that the oil they use is *beef tallow* and regular vegetable oil. So $5.40 went straight into the garbage because had I eaten those I would have gotten very sick. DO BETTER! Especially because there are so few food options in airports for people with dietary restrictions and allergies. “And why just use some beef tallow, either full send it or don’t use any?!?!”-my husband
