    I never come here. Ran in for a box of wet cat food. (It was late I didn’t realize in store) the bottom of the box had a rotten spot. Inside was covered in maggots. I brought maggots into my home because no one at this store, nor myself, noticed this. Partly my fault, yes. But no one working there noticed maggots were on products in the store?! Mind you most were dead so this has been sitting for longer than I want to imagine. Threw out all the cans because they smell and well, maggots. 🤢

    The clerk at self checkout implied that I am a liar and demanded that i show her my phone with the app open to prove that I scanned their coupon for the sale price on some grapes. When I refused the invasion of my privacy she smirked and said oh well then I cannot help you you'll just have to pay full price. Which I did and as I was leaving her and another Clerk we're looking straight at me and covering their mouths as they whispered to each other both looking like they very much enjoyed this part of their job. There was at least one other discount that I was entitled to which did not show up on this receipt either. I would have contested that also but I did not want to spend another moment interacting with this Clerk or the business that she represents. when I finish writing this review I'm going to reach out to my state legislator and request that they do something about these Supermarket chains trampling on people's privacy and on our pocketbooks.

    I recently visited this Safeway and had an issue that left me very disappointed. I needed a reprint of a receipt for a company credit card statement, which is a reasonable request for business purposes. Unfortunately, the store manager refused to provide the reprinted receipt, even after I explained the situation. This lack of flexibility and customer support caused unnecessary inconvenience and reflects poorly on the store’s commitment to helping customers resolve simple problems. I expected better service and understanding, especially for something as straightforward as reprinting a receipt.

    I was last in the store on 11/17/25 @18:51. I am not sure if the Safeway employees at this location are even aware that they are making a bad impression at the self-check out area. I've noticed it in the past. I finished paying for my groceries & as I was leaving I noticed between 3-5 sets of eyes on me from a group of employees, all grinning, while one of them made some kind of verbal commentary. They just stand there smirking while they stare. I checked my face, nobody had drawn on it with a Sharpie. How many idle Safeway employees making cracks does it take to stare down one customer anyway? Crude customer experience.

    ✓ Cleanliness ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ✓ Selection ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ✓ Produce ⭐⭐⭐ ✓ Location ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ✓ Parking ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ✓ Staff ⭐⭐ Overall Satisfactory: ⭐⭐⭐ Summary: While browsing the limited overpriced appeal (leggings & socks), about 6 minutes into my shopping experience I am approached by the stores security guard. Himself was very nice, I can tell he didn't like "this part" of his job. Supposedly it was brought to his attention by another staff member to "check on me" asking if I am "okay".... during this, I'm on a very important cal (my employer)l, therefore I was interrupted & extremely embarrassed considering the person I'm on the phone with is rudely interrupted + listening to our conversation! Very awkward having to explain what happened and trying to figure out the right use of words so I do not look like a untrustworthy person who also causes problems at their local grocery store. Thanks Safeway! I won't be shopping here again. Also, I was overcharged on both items. The price was significantly different from the one advertised.
