The new ownership is not impressing me so far. We used to eat here at least the times a month, but I’m not so sure we will now. They had one cook and one server, and our dinner took over an hour to arrive. And the place wasn’t even crowded. The food was still pretty good but we were told the menu would be changing soon. I was sad to not see the usual people working there. It just felt different and not in a good way. We still left a generous tip as it was not the server’s fault. She was really nice. I’m just not sure I want to keep going to this place with all the changes.

Warning. Under new ownership. The worst food I've ever been served. How do you undercook, I mean raw dough undercooked, in a wood oven pizza? I struggled to cut with a butter knife. Lasagna with two small sheets of pasta and what looked like sloppy joes with terrible flavor. And the bread they served us prior was so bad we couldn't eat it, bread, that stuck to our teeth. I don't think I could worse if I tried. Did we just get punked? A very sad joke, and I paid and we left our uneaten food. The menu has changed drastically is so basic and limited and they couldn't even do a very limited menu below average.

I don’t leave reviews normally but I feel this place needs to be absolutely celebrated. Didn’t kno what to expect , being that it’s tucked into a strip mall on south wadsworth-where for some reason nobody down here values any food besides chains The food and atmosphere is definitely top 3 in the Denver area without all the surface glitz of chasing a city vibe Simple and calm vibe and pure flavor perfection Woke up still thinking about the food Some of the best I’ve had in this state

I’m someone who lives for red sauce — pasta, pizza, anything. I’ve tried five or six different Italian restaurants around Lakewood, and this one is, without a doubt, my go-to every single time. So many places get red sauce wrong — too watery so it slides right off the noodles, or the pasta’s overcooked and sticks to your teeth. Not here. The noodles are perfectly cooked — fresh, bouncy, and full of life — and that sauce? Rich, flavorful, and the kind that makes your mouth water just thinking about it. And the portions? Absolutely unbeatable. I ordered one plate of spaghetti with three huge meatballs, gave my mother-in-law a heaping serving of her own, ate my fill, and still had enough left for tomorrow — and probably the next day too. The price is more than fair for what you get, and the quality never misses. $23 for one plate that will feed me 3 days. I’ve never dined in, but every pickup and phone order has been nothing but smiles, thank-yous, and genuine kindness. You can tell the people here care about what they’re serving. This place has become a serious craving of mine — the kind that hits you out of nowhere and won’t let go until you give in. What do yall pit in that SAUCE!! Anyways. If you’re looking for that cozy, hole-in-the-wall gem with real authentic food that'll leave your stomach content and heart behind it, this is the place. Thank you for taking care of us every single time. (P.S. If the breadsticks ever get a little garlicky bite to match that amazing red sauce, it’d be perfection)

We’ve been here a few times and have gotten the same experience: very little ice in our drinks, dried out bread, but it’s ok once you dip it in the oil and balsamic. Every time we ask for bread with our meal our server never brings it. It’s always forgotten! We brought out of town family in last night for dinner, and it wasn’t a great experience, especially when the bread was forgotten when we requested it with our entrée again. We went on my birthday last month and my birthday cannoli was forgotten. We like the crab ravioli and spaghetti, but I was surprised they didn’t have fresh Parmesan cheese, to grade onto your dish… it’s the little things that sour the experience.
