  DISHONEST. Weigh your items YOURSELF!!!!!!!! I stopped in there to buy some beef tallow in a two cup container which was labelled "2 cups 9.99lb"....exactly like this. So I proceeded to purchase it and then while he was running my card I weighed it on their scale, 0.92 lb with the container so about 0.9 lbs of product which is how it is done. I asked the older gentleman whether he charged me by the pound or per container. He charged me $9.99!!!, per container. I mentioned that the weight was only 0.92lb with the container he said it was because it's two cups, but it says 9.99lb. He continue to argue with me then have the nerve to tell me it was a "glitch". It's hard to believe somebody in the meat industry doesnt understand meat by the pound!!!!! I returned my item, told him I'd never return, and am tired of being scammed by everybody at every turn these days. I will report to the city as well, most likely they're doing this on a regular basis: 10% here 10% there 10% here 10% there.

  For many years, we attempted to locate a meat market that sells bone-in roast. A friend suggested Oliver Meat Market, and now it is my go-to meat market. This is a roast that many sell as a boneless roast, which lacks no flavor. Many people don't like buying bone-in roast because they don't want to pay for the bone. Bone-In roast offers a far better flavor. As an amateur chef, I enjoy cooking a bone-in roast. The best part of cooking this roast is the leftovers. I grind all the leftover roast and vegetables after sitting in the fridge for a day into an excellent meat spread. My neighbors rave about my meat spread. As a southern boy, I grew up eating boudin, a quintessential Cajun sausage originating from Southern Louisiana, consisting of cooked pork, rice, onions, peppers, and savory spices packed into a hog casing. Only a few meat markets here in Denver know how to make. Oliver Meat is one of the rare meat markets that can make it. When I eat the boudin sausage, it brings back memories of being back home in the south. Oliver Meat Market is a true meat market that offers top-quality meats.
