This place was great, my cousin had a graduation party here and the food they serve was amazing, except for the gumbo I guess I was warned several times lol. Everything else was so good, drinks were very good, and very reasonably priced. The bartender was also very nice and accommodating. The music was pretty good too, all around had a very nice time. It's not the biggest space so I'd avoid it if your groups bigger than like 6 people for an average night out. They have two pool tables as well. And the location isn't all that bad but you might struggle with parking.

The food was okay. The red beans and rice and jambalaya are very good, but the crawfish etoufee was bland. Had to pour more hot sauce than I'd expect for a cajun spot. The gator was good, but needs some type of sauce to really highlight the flavor. Drinks were good; hurricane had a solid, sweet flavor. Easy to drink too many, but that's what you expect. The service wasn't stellar. They were packed, but only 3 guys working and it felt like they paid more attention to the bar than other tables.

This place is delicious if you like Cajun food. My issue is that it’s expensive, and they regularly mess up my delivery order. I order the same thing every time, the catfish dinner and a bowl of crawfish etouffee. Twice now in just a couple of months they sent something other than etouffee. I don’t know what it is, but it smells like pork. I’ve included a photo. That means I’m throwing away $15-20 each time, and I don’t even really want to catfish without the etouffee. THEY GO TOGETHER!!! Also, see the picture of the cheesecake. You do not receive cheesecake when you order it. That was an AI generated description they put up a few months back on Uber Eats. I ordered a piece and got some other kind of cake. Uber did give me a refund on that one, but NOLA still hasn’t corrected the description. I just really wish they would be more considerate to those of us placing orders for delivery.

First visit — great food, but service needs improvement, very disappointing. We drove 30 minutes to try this restaurant and were excited to check it out. The food was the only highlight of the experience. Unfortunately, the service and timing took away from the overall experience. When we arrived, there were only two other tables, yet it took about 20 minutes to place our order and another 40 minutes for the food to arrive. After finishing our meal, we had to flag someone down to get our check. (Later this evening my husband ended up getting sick from the Jambalaya). The restaurant did become busier while we were there, which we understand can slow things down. However, even before the rush the wait times were significant. A table seated after us ended up leaving after waiting over an hour for their food. We also noticed the owner was present, and it might have helped during the rush if additional support had been provided to the staff instead of sitting and visiting with one table. We truly enjoyed the food and hope the service issues improve. But until then, we’ll be going elsewhere.

Five stars because I would never rate a local restaurant lower, but just set for over 2 hours waiting on food that was never put in. Bartender was definitely in the weeds, but a little disappointed to say the least. My friend’s food that was put in took well over an hour to come out. A $20 sandwich should take 30 minutes maximum. Understaffing happens, but this needs to be communicated to the customers. It will be really hard for me to come back and if I do I will definitely eat first.
