Okay, Key takeaways, So server was very rude. If they don’t want to work properly I think they should just take a leave. Food: chicken kabab was chicken tossed in pan. WoW! Same chicken, small pieces they call it chicken shawarma…how? Shawarma is pulled one! My friend ordered chicken sandwich, got beef one 🤯 I am telling you these guys have became ride because of the response they get from college students nearby. If the restaurant continues to serve like this, you will see an empty space at the corner of this address. Took my friends visiting from Atlanta to have good food Totally disappointed

The worst experience ever! My friend and I came all the way from Atlanta after a friend from Denver recommended this place — and what a huge mistake that was. The server was unbelievably rude, the food was cold, and to top it off, management couldn’t care less. They even gave us the wrong order and didn’t bother fixing it. We were made to sit in freezing cold despite asking multiple times for some heating. No one cared. Since we were starving, we had no choice but to sit there and eat in that miserable condition. Absolutely disappointing — never coming back.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 STARS — JERUSALEM’S IS A DENVER ICON Jerusalem’s in Denver is the standard. Full stop, knock-your-socks-off good. Everyone else is compared to them. For over 40 years this place has been consistently deliver unbelievably good — not just “for late night,” not just “for Middle Eastern” — but genuinely some of the best food in Denver, period. This is the spot chefs recommend to other chefs. This is the spot people take visitors to prove Denver still has a food culture. FOOD — SECOND TO NONE Fresh, bold, and true-roots authentic. The shawarma, the gyros, the kabobs - every protein is juicy, marinated, seasoned correctly. Their vegetarian options are equally legit! Their hummus, falafel, foul, baba ghanouj - all made right. The “Combo Super Dish” is what I got the first time and is a legendary all-star plate. As for those big glass dessert displays, they speak for themselves: filo pastries, bird’s nest, baklava, ladyfingers, coconut + semolina cakes — all worth the pick! These aren’t bakery “interpretations,” they’re actual Middle Eastern pastry texture; crisp, aromatic, honeyed, nutty, and delicate. ATMOSPHERE — WARM • WELCOMING • ROOTED The interior has crafted geometric patterns, gold textures, arches, and backlit star latticework. It feels like a small portal to an older world. The exterior patio has string lights and covered seating, perfect for late-night hangouts. There’s something cozy and honest about that neon “OPEN LATE” sign glowing above the dessert cases where you can literally see trays of fresh pastries stacked behind glass. PRACTICALS — THEY GET IT RIGHT Open late, ample parking (rare for Denver), counter service for takeout that moves efficiently even when it’s slammed — or opt for a personal experience dining in with family / friends / date night. Seating inside is comfy and expands to a chic covered patio outside. My favorite treat - Make sure to grab one of their Jerusalem olive oil or balsamic — imported directly from Mediterranean farm— which I found out is just a few miles from the owner’s hometown. Really excited. This is the kind of place where the parking lot at 1 AM tells you all you need to know — people are here because the food is worth driving for. BOTTOM LINE Jerusalem’s is not just a restaurant; it’s a Denver institution. If you live in Denver and haven’t eaten here; fix that. If you’re visiting Denver and want the real local legend; you found it! Right near the heart of the city, this Denver gem is the main vein that keeps your tastebuds alive. Try it for yourself or hear it from the masses with over 4000 raving reviews - Nothing else compares.

Some friends and I went for lunch here for the first time the other day. The food was absolutely incredible! We started off with the tzatziki and fouel, which came with pita. We also ordered a gyro platter, shawarma platter, and the kallayah platter. All of the meats were seasoned so well and cooked so tenderly. Our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs, so we had to take a lot of it to go. We also ordered the kulage (I think) to go after our server recommended it. Our server, by the way, was absolutely lovely. He was prompt, kind, and very knowledgeable about the menu. We had a fantastic experience and will definitely be back!

I am in town because my daughter is in the hospital and I had a few hours this evening to dine out alone. I am glad I chose Jerusalem because it did not disappoint. I ordered the lentil soup, lamb shank, hummus, Arab coffee and some desserts to go. The lamb shank was tender and delicious, the salad that came with it was flavorful and tangy, the hummus was creamy and delightful. The lentil soup was good, but I would like a little more flavor in it, so I added some lemon wedges, which gave it the boost it needed. The service was very attentive and nice, and I was able to get a table on the deck, even during busy hours. The food came out very fast, but the waitress was obviously experienced and gave me time to eat my soup first, which was great too.
