Was in town This place was a gem! The food was so good. The service was great! I loved how it is set up. The manager on duty (didn’t catch her name) was on it! She was involved and supporting the team. The bartenders were all super kind and helpful. The food was really good!! No plans to come back to downtown Denver but if I did come back. “We have to go to Henry’s while we are here”

The hostess was very hard to track down for seating. Many people left after standing around for 10-20 minutes without being approached by a staff member and eventually we ended up just sitting at the bar whenever I snagged an open seat. While our bartender was nice, she was slammed and overwhelmed, and because there wasn't enough help, ended up missing ordered items. The food was underwhelming but they did get our order correct. Our drinks were also not great. Overall, it was just ok. We picked it because it sounded like a foodie lovers place but we won't be back, nor would we recommend it to others. Love the concept tho!

Made a Christmas reservation for here at 6:30. Arrived at 6:10 and there was a handwritten sign on the door that they closed at 6. Waited outside the door of the busy restaurant and no one would let us in.

This place has a HUGE menu with little unusual rules sprinkled in that you’re supposed to find so you know what to do. You have to request water in order to receive any. All salmon is done to medium unless otherwise specified. Mine was totally raw in the middle, not even medium done and our waitress insisted that I was supposed to ask for it well-done. Then it took them a ridiculously long time to bring out a replacement so I ate after the rest of my family had finished. The food was good, the service was just okay, and the atmosphere was fine. But if they’re going to do things strangely they should be telling people instead of burying it in their menu and expecting people to read every little thing. I’m giving at least 3 stars because the food was good and they have a separate gluten-free menu which is surprisingly long. I also feel bad that my aunt was so rude to our server. I stepped back to the hall and apologized to her but I’ve worked in the service industry (about a decade) and I know how much crap workers have to put up with and especially during the holidays. I might come back, but this experience was definitely off-putting.

The food was so good! Absolutely delicious, I got pizza and nachos and both were stellar. That’s the only reason I’m giving 3 stars. What threw me off was our server. I have a gluten intolerance, but wouldn’t you know it, I can manage my intolerance just fine in restaurants. I order nachos frequently as they’re usually made with corn tortilla chips, and the temp of the fryer is so high cross contamination isn’t an issue. I have not been diagnosed with celiac, I just discovered my intolerance through trial and error. I mentioned my intolerance to the server, but said that I usually order nachos so there was no concern from me about cross contamination. I only mentioned it to make sure the chips weren’t flour tortilla chips. This is a normal interaction for me at restaurants so I didn’t think anything of it. The chef ended up coming out a short time later while my friend and I were sipping on our drinks and asking about my intolerance. He happened to offer a gluten free pizza alternative, which I didn’t realize they had and it sounded really good to me so I decided to take it instead of the nachos. I honestly thought this was a really nice gesture, until the server came back over. She was very abrasive and aggressive, confronting me about my intolerance and “why I told her it was no big deal when it’s actually a big deal.” I was immediately so embarrassed, even though I didn’t do anything wrong. I explained that there isn’t a big deal, I didn’t know the chef was going to talk to me, and he offered a GF pizza alternative which I decided to take. I shouldn’t have had to explain myself to the server like that, but she made me feel like I had been hiding something when in reality, she was unaware of the conversation I had with the chef, had made her own assumptions, and confronted me about them in front of the whole restaurant. Thankfully it wasn’t overly busy but it was still mortifying. My friend and I felt so uncomfortable the rest of our time there. I was actually given both the pizza and the nachos, which was unexpected but a nice gesture, but I was still feeling so embarrassed a big portion of it went uneaten. We were only in Denver for a long weekend, but that being our very first experience after landing kind of soured our first day in Denver. When I go back to the city I definitely won’t be visiting this place again.
