Place looked cool. Service is non existent. Had to come up to the bar from our table to order drinks after sitting for 10mins. Had to wait another 5mins for our drinks to be served to us. We sat at a middle table and the sever just ignored us straight up. Not even a greeting. Didn’t even offer water. They weren’t even busy. My friend had this vodka, guava cocktail thing and it was a no go. It was bad. Lol i had like a whiskey cocktail like an old fashioned type of cocktail and it was way too sweet. After we finished our drink, we left. And prob never coming back to this place again if ever I or we, will be in denver. Coming from NYC, it’s not up to our standards. This place is just not it for us. 2 stars for the effort tho.

Great cocktails, atmosphere and music. I love bringing friends and family visiting from out of town because it's also so close to other great restaurants and bars. Our waiter was attentive and sweet, love coming here :)

I have to admit, I really went into this place with high hopes and expectations. I chose to disregard the reviews some others had left and as I expected their views were over-exagerrated or one-offs but nonetheless I still left with nothing to brag about. Reservations recommended but absolutely not needed on a Saturday night. The bartenders were very nice, when they spoke to you (we sat at bar). But nice does not really make up for the fact that we went long periods of time between interaction and needed service. To boot, like so many unprofessional bartenders and servers in this world (having been a Hard Rock Cafe bartender for years, am sensitive to such practices) I was slightly disgusted to watch him guide scooped ice into every glass or mixing tin with his bare hand. My high expectations were pretty much dashed at this point. Apparently there kitchen was closed (possibly permanently) and of the 2 menus we had 1 was completely normal (no whiteout) and the other truly and literally had whiteout in it to cover up the food items listed except for chips & guacamole and chips and salsa. Alas, guacamole was not even available. It took close to 15 minutes to receive chips and salsa and although the chips were excellent it absolutely appeared as if we had received what was left at the bottom of bag. A bunch of broken crumb like pieces. There is no bathroom in the establishment except for employees. You have to leave the bar completely and go down to shared bathroom of a number of businesses, I assume. After asking the bartender for the check, 5 minutes went by, another bartender stepped in, he walked out, and we never saw him again. 10-15 minutes went by before she came to us and we simply asked for the check, which she promptly handed to us. There is no way I would ever go there again and could not recommend anyone else doing so either. Date night with the wife should have been better.
